Chapter 1918 - 1916: For the Reputation of the Sect
Quentin Taylor found himself in a no-win situation. As the Deputy Sect Master of the Heavenly Domain Faction and the presiding figure here, not to mention a master of the Ninety-nine Star Rank, he had no choice but to deal with Peter Brown’s provocation.
With the continuous investigation into the intelligence about Peter Brown, Quentin Taylor’s brow furrowed increasingly. Peter appeared to be not so simple a character; had he not revealed his own identity, no one would have known he was hidden among the princes. Only after the revelation did people discover that Peter might indeed possess numerous methods.
"Shouldn’t all sects have dispatched masters to enter the Prolific Star Palace?" Quentin Taylor asked just that.
"Deputy Sect Master, are you suggesting that the assassination of Prince Samuel and others from the Purpolia Kingdom could have been done by Peter Brown?" an elder of the 86-Star Rank asked.
"Hmph, I believe it was his doing. Just think, several individuals of the 50-Star Rank were all eliminated by him!"
"How could that be possible? What makes him capable of killing those of the 50 Star Rank? According to what we know, it is likely that Prince Samuel led an ambush against Peter."
"Prince Samuel and his men probably never expected to be counter-killed by Peter!"
With the analysis reaching this point, everyone understood in their hearts that Peter Brown might indeed be the one who killed Prince Samuel and the others.
"Could it be true that he poses a threat even to those of the Hundred-Star Level?" The elder’s face was grave, realizing for the first time that he had underestimated Peter.
