"Mr. Collins, do you think Prince Harvey will make it out alive?" A minister under Prince Edward said with a smile, his tone laced with a hint of teasing.
Hearing his question, several ministers turned their gazes toward Sam Collins.
One minister laughed and said, "Although Prince Harvey possesses formidable formations and Energy Bombs, I’ve heard that the other princes have made specific preparations against them. Those things probably won’t be of much use anymore."
Sam Collins snorted but said nothing. Of course, he understood these people’s implications, but he had no means at his disposal and could only wait.
To tell the truth, though Sam Collins had noticed some changes in Prince Harvey, deep down, he wasn’t too optimistic about his chances.
When he thought of his daughter, who the Emperor had decreed would marry Prince Harvey, it filled him with gloom. His daughter was known for her talents and beauty throughout Kingston, and she could have married a better prince. Yet fate had played its hand, and she was now Prince Harvey’s wife. He had no choice but to stand with Prince Harvey.
