Chapter 1821 - 1819: A Dangerous Trip to King’s City

Peter Brown suddenly felt he was in extreme danger.

Had he not heard Philip William’s words, Peter truly wouldn’t have worried about so much. Now, having heard what Philip Williams had said, Peter realized just how dangerous his situation was.

To say nothing of the various powers that might plot against him, consider the formation tools and energy bombs he had suddenly produced. These items might not be anything remarkable to a Cultivation Sect, only posing a threat to those under ten stars, but what would everyone else think?

During such a sensitive time, people might truly start to believe he was set to take over the Emperor’s position. If that were the case, would any of the princes let him off the hook?

Thinking about the princes’ shift from covert competition to open conflict, Peter suspected his trip to King’s City would be anything but safe.

He learned from the Royal Records that the current Emperor still had about twenty sons. Among these, whether Prince Frank or Prince Edward, there were competitive princes with considerable power. Could Prince Samuel really rest easy regarding himself?

Shaking his head, Peter guessed that everyone would prefer he did not make it to King’s City. Assassins would undoubtedly target him along the way.

So should he abandon his trip to King’s City?

For the first time, Peter had doubts about his journey.
