Chapter 1758 - 1756: Escape
Peter Brown was all too aware of the current situation. If he didn’t make a quick escape now, he would have no chance at all. With the massive influx of the Army into the city, his only option was to flee desperately.
After changing into the enemy’s clothes, Peter first moved cautiously, then sprinted away when he was about to leave the crowd.
Of course, this would definitely alarm the enemy, but Peter could no longer be concerned about that; once the situation in the city stabilized, the possibility of escape would be lost even if he wanted to.
Indeed, just as Peter sprinted, an enemy General spotted him and shouted loudly, "What are you doing?"
"Nature’s call."
Peter replied without stopping and ran even faster towards the forest.
Peter had this route planned out in advance. A forest lay ahead, and beyond it was the wilderness. Once there, he would have more opportunities to escape.
The enemy General was stunned for a moment, then a thought struck him and he yelled loudly, "Stop right there."
But Peter had no intention of listening and ran even faster into the forest.
"Where do you think you’re going?"
The General soon realized the situation and bellowed loudly.
