Chapter 1684 - 1682: Peter Brown’s Request
June Davis sat there watching Peter Brown answer the questions, and the more she watched, the more she realized that she had to reconceptualize her understanding of him. The professors’ words had greatly alarmed her; the visiting professors today were not ordinary. They were renowned both domestically and internationally, and even authoritative in certain areas. Yet, it was these very people who held Peter Brown in such high esteem. What did this imply? It meant that Peter Brown’s abilities had gained their recognition!
As Peter finished the last examination paper, the look June Davis gave him took on an inexplicable meaning.
June even thought to herself that she had always been picky about choosing boyfriends. Henry Carter had been her prime choice, but with Henry’s incident, and as she considered the others who pursued her, she found them not quite measuring up to Peter sitting right there.
But this young man was younger than her, wasn’t he? Although not by many years, he was indeed a bit younger.
June then recalled the age that Peter had written down, he was only nineteen this year, wasn’t he?
So young?
At twenty-five, when June compared their ages, she felt a sense of loss.
"Ms. Watson, I’ve finished the exam; may I leave now?"
"Ah, finished already?" It was then that June Davis realized, and when she looked at Peter Brown, she suddenly noticed his well-built figure, exuding a sensation of immense power.
How had she never noticed before that Peter Brown was such a strapping young man!
The thought of Peter’s robustness stirred a strong sensation within June, and she couldn’t help but cross her legs tightly.
