Chapter 1656 - 1654: Axe Sect

Axe Sect was an organization formed by some societal elements who proclaimed themselves as such, each member wielding a large axe and prone to brandishing it in acts of violence and destruction.

The leader of Axe Sect was said to be a skilled martial artist named Jace Wilson, who was notoriously fierce and ruthless. He had already caused several deaths and injuries with his own hands. The group consisted of over forty members; while not numerous, they fought with ferocious madness, even resulting in fatalities, instilling fear in the people of the county.

Hearing this, Peter Brown looked at Sadie Smith puzzled and asked, "With such limited power, shouldn’t the police in the county be able to take them out if they take action?"

Sadie Smith gave a wry smile and replied, "You don’t understand. Jace Wilson is the grandson of the former County Public Security Bureau Director. Though his grandfather has retired, his influence in the county is profound, especially given his extensive connections in the city. There was an incident where someone caught Jace, but not only was he released quickly, the person who caught him was crippled."

Such things did happen!

Peter Brown was similarly shocked.

"Jace Wilson has another tactic. He forces women to sleep with influential men of status, even coercing virtuous women. Under their spell, some people become his protective covers, making it even harder for anyone to take action against him."

Such power existed?

Peter Brown truly hadn’t anticipated that.
