Chapter 1607 - 1606: New Office World
"Peter Brown is treating, everyone."
"Director Wang, congratulations on the promotion."
"Director Wang, you must treat us."
Right after the meeting ended, everyone surrounded Peter Brown, showering him with various compliments.
"I’m still the assistant director; just temporarily in charge of the office, as there’s no one else!" Peter felt somewhat proud, considering himself a minor leader. Although he had been the assistant director before, a leader nonetheless, back then everyone viewed him as a mere errand runner. Now, things were completely different; he was in charge of the work!
He entered the Integrated Office and looked around the empty space; Peter chuckled to himself. Now that he was alone in the office, of course, he had the final say.
As he surveyed the office layout, thoughts of the feng shui books he had read popped into his mind.
As he looked around, Peter suddenly noticed some issues he hadn’t seen before. No wonder Ivy Cooper had been in chaos and hadn’t advanced; the spot where she sat had a beam overhead, feng shui explained it as being suppressed, unable to turn things around!
Looking at the spot where Reid Nelson sat, she was directly half-back towards a window, with the cold wind blowing and lacking support, evidently, she couldn’t last long.
After observing everyone’s desk situation, Peter pondered for a while before finally choosing a relatively good spot.
At that moment, the HR manager arrived with two girls, and cheerfully told Peter, "Director Wang, these two are newly assigned college graduates. They’ll work in the office. They’ve also trained in the team and should be able to get the hang of it quite fast."
