Chapter 1564 - 1563: Deadly Move_1

After dinner, there were no further activities, and Peter Brown had sent Reid Nelson away before returning to his place. Peter understood clearly that, at least under the current circumstances, it was impossible for Reid Nelson to have any in-depth communication with him. This woman was awesome, and her approach towards him was merely seductive. Thinking that it could go any further was utterly impossible.

Both were aware of this in their hearts, and even though they made some jokes, they never went too far.

Sitting in his room and contemplating his interactions with Reid Nelson, Peter couldn’t figure out what her next move might be.

However, the whole affair had nearly played out, and Henry Ford’s period of danger had passed. This had some benefits for himself too, so Peter didn’t want to get more involved. He could only sit there and watch the two women make their moves.

The next morning nothing had happened yet, but by the afternoon a rumor had emerged, claiming Christian Greenhill and Ivy Cooper were caught by the Anti-prostitution Squad while at a hotel, and they were released only after paying bail.

Peter hadn’t heard this rumor himself, but learned of the incident when Uncle Richard called to inquire about it.

After finishing his call outside, Peter returned to the office and couldn’t help but glance at Ivy Cooper.

At first glance, Peter couldn’t tell whether anything had happened to Ivy Cooper or not; she was sitting there, listening to music and looking at her computer, probably shopping on Taobao or something similar.

That’s weird, there seems to be no issue!

Sitting there, Peter wondered in what direction this affair was going to develop.

Taking another look at Reid Nelson, the woman was all business today—dressed in very proper professional attire, sitting there as if she was quite busy, scribbling away all day.
