Upon hearing Peter Brown’s inquiry, Patrick Young replied with a smile, "Immortal friend, there are things you do not yet know."

"Is there any special circumstance?" Peter Brown asked.

With a slight smile, Patrick Young looked toward Peter Brown and said, "What do you think we would do after obtaining a Sacred Fate Seed?"

"Continue competing for it."

Artemis Hill just laughed and said, "Immortal friend, you are mistaken. Many people share our mindset: once we get a hold of a Sacred Fate Seed, what we need to do is leave quickly, then find a No Man’s Land to hide in, making sure others can’t sense our aura, until the Great Contest Era ends before coming out."

Peter Brown was taken aback, "There’s such a thing?"

Artemis Hill smiled and said, "Do you know? Once the Great Contest Era ends and the Saints and Void Saints are in place, the Sacred Fate Seed becomes less important to all parties. The strong won’t compete for it anymore, and unless they are provoked, those Saints and people of Void Saint ranking, would not lower themselves to attack. In this way, everyone is relatively safe. Having a strong person with a Sacred Fate Seed means a Family can endure for tens of thousands of years. Many powerful Families come from the lineages of Sacred Fate Seed holders."

"Isn’t that safe enough?"

Peter Brown still shook his head, uncertain.
