Hiding in the water, the dragon-shaped Immortal Beast roared in the azure sky for a while before it finally left the area.
What reached his ears were the roars of the Immortal Beast, its attacks echoing from various places, many of which were scorched by the flames it spat out.
However, the forests of the Immortal Realm were truly extraordinary, for even its awesome flames failed to ignite a forest fire.
Another two hours passed, and only when there were no more sounds did Peter Brown emerge.
Peter knew he could not stay here much longer, so he dashed in the opposite direction of the Immortal Beast with great haste.
Along the way, Peter still observed some conditions within the forest; Immortal Beasts were roaring from time to time, as if they were having a meeting, with groups of them gathered everywhere.
It might be because he had absorbed the aura of the green trees, but Peter discovered he had a new ability - he could remain undetected by Immortal Beasts even when he was right beside them.
Of course, what Peter most wanted to know was what kind of changes had occurred to his eyes. He had carefully examined them on the journey, and though there seemed to be no issues with his eyes, he had yet to determine any unique characteristics they might possess.
Even though he knew his body might have been transformed, Peter had not yet discovered anything particularly special about himself.
During his journey, Peter sustained himself on wild fruits, occasionally killing and consuming Immortal Beasts, all the while relentlessly practicing the immortal techniques passed down by Ollie Morris.
There were some effects indeed, as Peter noticed his body had become much stronger. Sometimes, he could kill even the larger Immortal Beasts with a single punch.
