Being different from others, he had offended many powerful demons, and numerous clans of the Demon Clan had been annihilated by him. It was impossible that they would not pursue him to the death.
Therefore, to deal with what would happen, Peter had to make targeted preparations.
Firstly, the issue was to avoid being killed by them immediately after the encounter, and for this, Peter knew his teleportation formation might still be of some use. Second was the problem of avoiding being killed after being cornered and fleeing from them.
Peter also speculated that the Buffer Zone definitely had something that everyone wanted, and that very item might be necessary when entering the Mortal Realm. After obtaining it, one should be able to retain some consciousness, so Peter also hoped to acquire it.
With this in mind, Peter considered a most critical issue, that was, how to retain his consciousness after entering the mortal world.
Everyone understood that retaining one’s consciousness meant gaining substantial benefits after descending into the mortal world, at least increasing the possibility of becoming an elite in certain aspects. Hence, it was essential to find a way to preserve his consciousness.
About this matter, Peter speculated that since the Ruyi Furnace could be brought from the Phantom Realm, it surely had great power in this aspect, and it might be able to help him at a critical moment.
However, as to whether the Ruyi Furnace could indeed protect him, Peter was not certain at the moment.
