After having bathed and changed, Peter Brown sat on a chair in the courtyard, observing the servants who respectfully stood around, attending to him. His mood was quite pleasant as he listened to Rich White reporting on the situation of the mansion.

"Young master, the mansion’s expenditures are quite large. The money we currently have from Master isn’t quite enough."

Peter was aware that Harry White had quite a bit of income, and yet it seemed it still wasn’t enough for the family’s expenses.

"How much can our eastern courtyard get?"

"The eastern courtyard represents a quarter of Master’s income. You also took quite a lot with you when you left last time."

Peter understood in his heart that William Stone was also someone who spent a lot, probably having emptied the family’s coffers.

"The Auction House that the family set up has never had any good treasures for sale. It’s not doing well nowadays. Young master, how do you think we should handle it?"

Peter couldn’t help but give a wry smile. William Stone had tried to do business like others, putting money into it without managing it thereafter, resulting in the money being spent without any successful business being done.

"Let’s not worry about it for now. Tell me what else needs to be done."

Since he was impersonating someone else, Peter also wanted to live comfortably, so he started inquiring.

Rich White hesitated before speaking, "Young master, the most important thing that you might need to deal with now is the Resource Battle."
