Chapter 1117 Practicing Cultivation Technique_1
"Peter, come and have some tea. This tea is hard to come by and it’s got a lot of energy in it." Seeing Peter bring more elixir, Fred Anderson’s face was already full of smiles. Recently, Peter had made a fortune, but for Fred, it was as if he too had basked in the glory. The Higher-Ups were very satisfied with his work and even had intentions of promoting him.
"These are five bottles of medicinal liquid." Peter put down the five jars he had brought with him on the table.
"Peter, I was just about to talk to you about this. Between us, the market demand for your elixir is too high now. I wanted to discuss with you if it’s possible to increase the supply. Five bottles really are too few."
Peter shook his head and said, "I won’t hide it from you. This isn’t just my business; many others are involved. The main issue is that the ingredients are hard to find. It seems like two thousand per can is a lot, but in reality, our profit margins are slim. Some people are already suggesting that we stop production."
"What?" Fred jumped to his feet, suddenly anxious. He raised his voice, "How can we stop with such a good market?"
"The key issue is the low profit margin; nobody wants to do it anymore. There’s nothing I can do."
"But the profit situation can be improved. We can talk about it," Fred said, truly desperate. He had just been praised by The Higher-Ups, and now they were talking about stopping; what would he do?
Peter lifted his teacup and took a sip, then said, "I won’t hide it from you, they’ve inquired in Kingston as well. They say that your selling price is very high, and many are dissatisfied, suggesting we might as well open up our own market."
Fred was even more shocked. To be honest, Celebration Rich Hall had really taken advantage of the situation with the medicinal liquid. They bought it from Peter for two thousand per can and sold it in Kingston for twenty thousand—a sky-high profit—and still it was in short supply. Hearing from Peter that the people behind him were not satisfied, Fred truly panicked.
