But how exactly could one enter the next time segment?
Peter Brown had his own speculations on this matter. In fact, after the last Teleport, he analyzed the path that was formed, dividing it according to the geographic directions on Earth, where the East represented the earliest part of time and the West, the latest. If he headed East, surely he would enter the next time segment, right?
After closely examining the ruptured path, Peter Brown did indeed discover some directional differences.
In any case, not knowing what to expect, the only option was for Peter Brown to try.
Eastward!
After determining the direction to breach the space-time continuum, Peter Brown turned the Immortal power into a protective layer, then shielded himself with a second layer of protection using Dao affinity. With these two strongest defenses in place, he began the act of piercing through the vacuum.
The powerful Immortal power surged towards the east, where the path had been opened last time.
Although the original path had ruptured, it was merely a sensation. In reality, that place was simply a starting point, and Peter Brown charged twenty centimeters east of that origin.
