Chapter 946: Moon Smith’s Story
Many memories now resurfaced as Peter Brown danced with Moon Smith, methodically sorting through the events he personally recalled.

Her mother was paralyzed, and to raise money, she was forced to sell herself to a gang in the county. But even though she had done what they demanded, her mother died from gas asphyxiation at home. In her helplessness, Moon jumped off the building.
Peter gazed at her as he thought about her sorry end.
Under the lights, Peter could see more clearly the striking beauty of this girl, who’d always been aloof in class, and noted the unique charm she possessed.
Further inspection revealed that she had a Water Spiritual Root of top grade, making her a perfect candidate for cultivation.
