Chapter 924: Neighbors (5th Update)
As he looked around at the people inside the bus, Peter Brown noticed that no one seemed to mind their behaviour, even seeing some men and women subtly moving about after being squeezed together.
No wonder there were still so many people on crowded buses, true understanding of this environment was surely beyond words!
"My name is Eleanor Grant." She sounded like she was talking to herself as she introduced herself.
"Peter Brown." Peter’s hearing was excellent, so he certainly heard her, and shared his own name in return.
Eleanor then quickly rattled off a string of phone numbers, her face sporting a blush as she gave out her number.
He couldn’t believe this woman was being so unguarded, giving away her name and number just like that!
Peter was incredibly curious about this woman, wondering what her situation was. Why would she dress in a skirt and squeeze on the bus, didn’t she fear people taking advantage of her? Also, she had even given him her phone number and name, wasn’t she afraid that he might be a bad person?
Just as Peter was pondering these things, Eleanor smiled and said, "We’re neighbours."
What?
Peter was utterly bewildered, he hadn’t realized this woman knew him. A blush immediately flushed his face.
Laughing lightly, Eleanor pinched Peter’s waist and said, "I never expected you to be a bit of a perv." She smiled coyly as she spoke.
