Chapter 917: Immortal Power
There isn’t a power in existence that dares to oppose the might of Qin River City. Melvin Jones quickly overpowered Sun and Moon City leading his forces.
"Master, there isn’t anything of urgency. I have certain insights on cultivation and wish to retreat for some time." Peter Brown met Robert Lee and told him about his plans of closed-door cultivation.
It was quite common for a cultivator to suddenly seclude themselves, sometimes even for decades. Robert Lee was not surprised and after glancing at Peter nodded, "Alright, you can go cultivate, Qin River City’s strength is now immense. We have successfully captured Sun and Moon City. I don’t foresee too many issues arising."
Peter didn’t choose to go into seclusion within Qin River City, as he would surely need to wield his Immortal power. Thus, Peter had to find a desolated place.
Upon leaving Qin River City, Peter took some time to grow Lingcao, an essential ingredient for constructing the Golden Core Pill. After successfully refining the pill, he was ready to proceed.
Remembering past lessons, Peter chose to refine various kinds of pills from foundation to Jieying Dan and stored them in his ring.
In an isolated area outside the city, Peter quickly crossed the tribulation, now officially becoming a cultivator of the Golden Core stage. He managed to overcome the First Nine Tribulation with nine sets of tribulation lightning which was relatively easy and was also able to collect quite a bit of Immortal power.
Upon inspecting his level of Immortal power, Peter was overjoyed. With so much Immortal power in hand, he was quite positive about breaking through the barrier.
After searching a few places, Peter finally found a satisfactory location. The place was void of any resources and seemed quite desolate, making it unattractive for cultivators.
Peter used his Immortal power to execute Earth Drilling Escape and move downwards, thereby expanding a space underground.
Thereafter, he spent his time setting up a formation for protection.
