Chapter 908: Bought a Bunch of Dead Formulas

"How much for a recipe?" Peter Brown asked indifferently.

The stall owner was a middle-aged man who smiled faintly and said, "These are all useless elixir formulas, usually bought by alchemists for research. I assume you are an alchemist, right?"

Peter also smiled and said, "That’s correct. I noticed that some of the recipes are still useful and can be used as references. If the price is reasonable, I’ll buy more."

"Ten cultivation coins each, that’s how I’ve always sold them."

Peter glanced at the pile of jade slips containing elixir formulas and said, "Do you know how many ’dead formulas’ you have here?"

"Many of these are imagined by alchemists and have never been tested. I’m not sure if the recipes are correct, but my collection is the most complete in the market, with more than 10,000 recipes."

Corey Webster said from the side, "Elder Wang, only one in a hundred of these dead formulas has any use. Most of them are useless, just speculative recipes. Some people bought them when they had the right Lingcao, but they found out they were wrong after refining them. Later, people only studied them and didn’t buy them."

The stall owner was frank and nodded, "Yes, what this fellow cultivator said is true. These dead formulas are like this, and despite having 10,000 recipes, it would be nice if a hundred of them were actually useful."

But Peter just smiled and said, "I don’t have that many cultivation coins, not even 10,000. If you agree, I’ll give you all my coins, and you give me a copy of each recipe. I’ll take them for research. Although most of them are fake, they can still be studied."

Corey was speechless.

The stall owner asked, "How many cultivation coins do you have?"
