As the Windsor Family was discussing, the government representative arrived.

Since the starlight cannon incident, Peter Brown had become estranged from the government, and he had no intention of mending their relationship. Moreover, after the change of administration, the old leaders had retired, and those currently in power were people that Peter did not know well, so he didn’t bother interacting with them.

Raven Walter looked at Peter and said, "Peter, I remember the representative from the government was named Robert Williams, someone you used to be very familiar with, but now it seems he doesn’t recognize us!"

Raven Walter sighed and shook his head as he spoke.

Peter then laughed and said, "You all think that the starlight cannon is just an ordinary cannon, but I am not even clear about its actual power. I’ve found that in addition to Earth, there are such cannons on Mars and many other planets in the Solar System. I don’t know what their purpose is."

Upon hearing this, Raven Walter shook his head and replied, "If we can avoid using it, we should, it’s a very sinister thing, capable of wiping out people’s consciousness!"
