Chapter 828: The Hidden Army
The two sides fought inextricably. Despite the hidden armies, there was no movement of any sort. Peter Brown could only watch cautiously, curious to see what the hidden forces intended to do.
Seated here, Peter was concealed by the Invisibility Talisman, undetectable by anyone around.
At this point, whether it was the King’s side or the Left Chancellor’s side, all the forces of both sides had been revealed.
Now, Peter began pondering a question: what sort of relationship should Earth and Return-to-Earth Star maintain that is most advantageous to the development of Earth?
Obviously, if Return-to-Earth Star became too powerful, it wouldn’t be good for Earth. However, if Return-to-Earth Star became too weak, that wouldn’t necessarily be a good thing either. After all, besides Return-to-Earth Star, there were many other aliens that would likely invade Earth.
After contemplating for a while, Peter felt that Return-to-Earth Star should still retain a certain amount of power.
For now, he decided to wait and see in what direction events would unfold.
Peter didn’t make a move, and everyone else also seemed to have forgotten about him.
Alvin Smith had been contemplating for a while, but after engaging in battle with Jack Ashton, he no longer got distracted by other matters.
The battlefield was now rife with intense combat, as one Cultivator after another fell.
Both sides had many skilled fighters. Although Alvin Smith’s Death Soldier Army had been destroyed by Peter, he had prepared for years and his forces attacking the Imperial City included numerous elite fighters.
