Chapter 248: Peter Brown Strikes Back
The relentless attacks from the enemy made Peter Brown mad. How could they keep thinking he was somebody to mess with?
After being attacked by a large group of people for the second time, Peter couldn’t hide his anger. Once he sent the two girls back to Rui City, he said to them, "You fly back tomorrow. I’ve still got some things to deal with here."
Ella Johnson looked at Peter worriedly, "You’re not planning on confronting them, are you?"
"There are some things I need to face. This is not a situation you should be involved in."
Peter then took out all the jadeite they had collected, intending to give it to the two women. He believed that once they return to Rui City, they can have these items transferred back home.
This time, Peter was planning to fight back, and he was aware of the dangers that might ensue.
Maisy Spencer smiled and said, "Just keep them with you for now. Give them to us once we return home. We trust you."
"What if something wrong happens to me?" Peter asked with a smile.
Ella Johnson replied seriously, "Take care of yourself."
The two women understood that the world Peter is living in is beyond their comprehension, and they couldn’t interfere with what he was doing. All they could do was hope for his safety.
Seeing Peter frequently using the jade talismans to attack, they had an idea that the jade he had been collecting must be for talisman making. More talismans would mean more protection for him when he confronted those people.
