Chapter 242: Entering the Game
"There are so many people!" Emery Robertson exclaimed in surprise as she saw the sudden influx of people.
Stephen Taylor suggested, "Since we’re all heading to the same place, why don’t we squeeze into one car? My business car can seat eleven people, and the others can just follow behind in the other vehicles. What do you think?"
Emery happily agreed, "Sure, it’ll be more lively."
As they spoke, Emery had convinced Maisy Spencer and their group to go along with the plan.
Under Emery’s persuasion, Maisy and the others quickly agreed to ride together. Stephen Taylor paid the travel agency for their business car and told them to take it back, as they no longer needed it.
Soon, everyone got into Stephen’s business car.
In front was their car, followed by Emery’s car. Stephen Taylor’s people decided to leave a few of them behind and not follow along, with two of them squeezing into Emery’s car instead.
Peter Brown watched everything with a smile, curious to see what these two were up to.
When he glanced at the two newcomers who had arrived last night, they seemed to be sleep-deprived and didn’t talk much.
As everyone chatted in the car, the atmosphere was lively as they headed towards Rui City.
When the topic of gemstone gambling came up, Stephen Taylor said, "Actually, although the public auction is not bad, going directly to the mining site would be even better."
