Chapter 205: A New Strategy
Just as Phoenix Taylor collapsed, Peter Brown, who had walked out the door, poked his head back in and said, "Pretend to be still affected by the poison for the next day or two. I want to see how everyone reacts."
Peter’s sudden words startled Phoenix, and she quickly got up, saying, "Alright! Alright!"
Not knowing where she got the energy from, Phoenix stood up again, showing a respectful attitude.
Peter knew that this woman was only acting this way out of fear of death, and she must still be resentful towards him. She might even try to cure the poison secretly. However, Peter was calm about it, knowing that his elixirs were not something ordinary and could not be easily broken by others.
Peter didn’t care about this woman’s thoughts and went outside to collect the two defeated South Seas Ghost Masters into his ring before heading towards the car parked away from the village.
He found a place, collected the items from the two South Seas Ghost Masters, then found another spot to bury them before finally returning to the car.
In Peter’s opinion, the two South Seas Ghost Masters were very weak and not worth considering. Killing them had been too easy, and he didn’t know what kind of abilities they possessed.
When checking their items, Peter couldn’t help but complain that the two Ghost Masters didn’t have anything valuable on them.
However, Peter managed to find a book that contained a number of techniques used by the Ghost Masters. After looking through it for a while, Peter shook his head, thinking that these were all low-level techniques compared to his own inheritance. They were nowhere near good enough to catch his eye.
