Chapter 186: Picnic
When the two beauties finished grooming themselves and found Peter Brown, they were all stunned by his demeanor.
Peter had a hat on his head, a chair under his butt, and a small table beside him. On the table, there was a tea set. A liquid container was already placed on the stove, and a pot of water was boiling.
No matter how you looked at it, Peter seemed like a leisurely angler.
Indeed, he was fishing with three fish lines in front of him.
"Peter, you have the leisure to play here without worrying about Adonis and the others!" Maurren Smith was speechless.
Peter looked at Maurren and said, "Beauty, come and sit down, let’s eat first and talk later. I’m cooking, and as soon as I catch a fish, I’ll cook it."
Maurren anxiously said, "We don’t even know Adonis and their situation right now, you’re unbelievable!" With that, she stomped her foot.
Peter poured hot water to make tea and said, "Would it help if you were anxious?"
Indeed, would it help? Maurren started to feel a bit dazed.
Peter continued, "We’ve been drifting downstream all the way, and we don’t even know how long it’s been. See, this place is sparsely populated, surrounded by mountains, and we are located in a secluded area. How can we help them? Besides, think about it, if Adonis and the others can’t handle the situation, what use would we be if we went there?"
Maurren said hastily, "Even so, we should always try to think of a solution, right?"
