Chapter 175: Edward Martin Calls
As Peter Brown was about to refine the medicinal liquid, Edward Martin called him.
"Peter, where are you?" Edward asked straightaway.
Edward didn’t know about Peter’s trip abroad.
"What’s up? Is there anything wrong?" Peter could sense anxiety in Edward’s voice.
"Peter, here’s the thing, something sudden has happened in the province, and there’s already gossip. I think my dad is going to make a move."
Peter was genuinely surprised, "What happened? Isn’t this too sudden?" Peter had a lot on his plate recently, and he didn’t even know what he was doing. It was a mess, and hearing this news was quite shocking.
"I’m not too clear on the specifics, but my dad is about to be transferred. I wanted you to know."
Peter nodded secretly, as this indeed posed a problem.
"I know."
