Chapter 110: Cancer Treatment
When Peter Brown’s car entered the village, he noticed it was already past six o’clock, and saw that there were lights on at his parents’ place, so he parked the car in the courtyard.
When he walked into the house, Peter unexpectedly saw tears in his mother’s eyes and everyone was about to go out.
"What’s wrong?" Peter was surprised.
Seeing Peter come in, Liza Smith choked, "Your grandma is critically ill, and has been taken to the township hospital. Your uncle John called to tell me to go see her for the last time."
Only then did Peter remember that his mother had come from a mountain village, and her family still lived there.
