The five people walked into the passageway. After walking for about ten meters, they came to a fork.
Ahead was an upward stairway, and on the left-hand side of the five people was a downward stairway.
Both stairways closely hugged the walls and formed a 90-degree angle; the intersection was a platform.
In the middle was an abyss.
And in the abyss, stood a giant statue holding a stone axe. Those eyes, as big as copper bells, seemed to be watching the five people.
The platform the five people were standing on was about as high as the stone statue's knees.
The visibility in the Secret Room was very low. Besides the giant statue being relatively clear, the visibility range was less than two meters. They didn't know where the ends of the two stairways were.
Turning their heads, they found that the way behind them had turned into a wall at some unknown time; the passageway was gone.
The five people faced two choices.
