Mengshu frowns, "Assistant Xu, what are you doing?"
"Mr. Fu has ordered that no one should disturb him, and since you didn’t announce your visit in advance, Miss Su, nor did the reception inform me," he replied.
Considering herself already Tingzhou’s fiancée and soon-to-be young mistress of the Fu Family, Mengshu looks at Xu Ze with disdain and says, "You’re just a minor assistant. Do you really think you can stop me? Xu Ze, do you believe I can have Tingzhou fire you right now!"
"Miss Su can do as she pleases. I am merely performing my duties," Xu Ze stands his ground undeterred, blocking Mengshu’s way, "Miss Su, please leave."
Mengshu grits her teeth, "You!!! Xu Ze!!! You are nothing but a dog!! I am the future wife of Tingzhou! And you dare to stop me!!"
