"…You are reaching your limit."

Alan didn't reply.

His arms trembled slightly under the pressure, but his grip on Iyargut didn't loosen. Instead of resisting directly, he shifted his footing and changed the angle of his blade.

Clang—!

The force slid to the side for a moment.

A small opening appeared.

Alan stepped in immediately.

Clang—!

A close-range strike landed on Dantalion's torso. The already damaged area cracked further, and dark energy spilled out more heavily.

Dantalion's eyes narrowed.

He pulled his sword back and struck again.

Clang—!

Alan blocked, but the impact forced him back several steps.

The distance between them opened slightly.

Alan steadied himself. His breathing was heavier now, and his armor was close to breaking.

Dantalion's body still carried multiple cracks, but they were slowly repairing.

" Is this all you can do?"

Dantalion raised his hand again.

This time, fewer magic circles appeared—

But they were denser.

More refined.

"Highest Point Cast."

A series of compressed spells formed instantly and shot toward Alan at close range.

SHHH—!

Alan stepped forward instead of retreating.

"Quick Step."

He dodged the first few and cut through one of the spells directly.

Clang—!

The impact shook his arm, but he didn't stop.

He closed the distance again.

Clang—!Clang—!Clang—!

Close combat resumed immediately.

This time, Alan reduced unnecessary movement. His attacks became shorter, more direct, and harder to predict.

Dantalion blocked most of them, but not perfectly.

Clang—!

Another shallow hit landed on his side.

Dark energy leaked again.

"…Good."

Dantalion stepped forward.

His aura condensed even more, tightening around his body like armor.

"…Then I will adjust as well."

His sword moved again.

Clang—!

Faster than before.

Stronger.

Alan blocked, but his stance broke slightly.

Before he could recover—

Another strike came.

Clang—!

Then another—

Clang—!

Alan was pushed back again.

His HP dropped steadily.

He didn't stop.

He stepped forward again as he swung his sword bending his body fully to maximize the output.

"100,000 Army Mortality Sword."

His blade crossed.

Then—

SHHH—!

A cross-shaped slash locked onto Dantalion.

Dantalion raised his sword.

"…Same level."

He swung once.

CLANG—!

The attack split apart again.

But this time, Alan was already moving.

He stepped back and activated his skill.

"Madra War Dance: Linked Kill Pinnacle."

Unlike Pagma's Sword Dance, this technique didn't require fixed steps. The more steps he used, the more the power increased.

Alan moved ten steps in an instant.

Each step amplified the attack.

200% of the original power.

His sword blurred.

More than forty flying sword strikes shot toward Dantalion at the same time.

SHHH—! SHHH—! SHHH—!

Each strike carried all his active buffs, along with purification energy layered into them.

Dantalion tried to block—

Clang—! Clang—!

But there were too many.

Several strikes pierced through his defense.

CRACK—!

CRACK—!

CRACK—!

His body split further, dark energy bursting out from multiple points.

The attacks didn't stop until all forty strikes landed.

BOOM—!

A final explosion pushed Dantalion back.

When the dust cleared—

His HP dropped sharply.

Down to 10%.

Dantalion stood there, his body heavily damaged, cracks covering almost every part of him.

Dark energy leaked continuously, and his regeneration slowed.

For the first time—

He didn't move immediately.

"…So this is your hidden move."

Alan stood in front of him, breathing heavier now. His mana and sword energy had dropped a lot, but his eyes were steady.

- I don't understand you kid

Madra voice echoed in his mind as Madra asked him.

- When you can easily finish this fight why drag this out.

Madra said as he easily saw Alan can indeed easily finish this fight yet he is dragging it out.

"…Where's the fun in that?"

Alan let out a small laugh despite his condition. His breathing was heavier, his body strained, but his eyes were still calm.

Madra fell silent for a moment.

"…You are wasting time."

Alan shook his head slightly.

"I'm learning."

He looked at Dantalion again.

"An opponent like this… doesn't come often."

In front of him, Dantalion slowly straightened his body. The cracks covering him remained, but the leaking energy began to stabilize.

All eight faces looked at Alan.

"…You held back."

Alan didn't deny it.

Dantalion's expression changed slightly.

"…Interesting."

He raised his sword again.

He stepped forward.

BOOM—!

The ground broke under his feet as he closed the distance instantly.

Clang—!

Their swords collided again.

The impact was heavier than before.

Alan blocked, but his arms shook slightly.

Dantalion didn't stop.

Clang—!Clang—!

Alan defended and stepped back, adjusting his stance.

"…Better."

Dantalion continued pressing forward.

Alan's eyes narrowed.

Then—

He stepped in instead of retreating.

Clang—!

He met the attack head-on.

His aura rose sharply.

"200,000 Army Repelling Sword."

He swung.

BOOM—!

A powerful force exploded outward, hitting Dantalion directly and pushing him back again.

The ground cracked as Dantalion slid several meters before stopping.

Alan moved forward immediately.

"100,000 Army Mortality Sword."

His blade crossed and released the attack.

SHHH—!

The cross-shaped slash locked onto Dantalion.

Dantalion raised his sword.

"…Again."

He swung to cut it apart—

CLANG—!

But this time—

The attack didn't fully break.

A part of it went through.

CRACK—!

A deeper cut appeared on his chest.

Dark energy spilled out again.

Dantalion glanced down at his body.

"…This is the limitation of a borrowed body."

His voice remained calm, but cracks spread further across his form. Pieces of his body began to break apart as dark energy leaked out uncontrollably.

His HP had dropped to 1%.

The fight was almost over.

Dantalion slowly lifted his head again and looked at Alan.

Despite his body breaking apart, there was no panic on any of his faces.

"…You did well."

Alan didn't relax.

He kept his stance ready, Iyargut still raised.

Dantalion's grip on his sword loosened slightly. The weapon in his hand began to fade along with his body.

"…To push a Great Demon to this point…"

His voice grew quieter, but it didn't lose its steadiness.

"…even with lesser demon body, You are not ordinary."
