Jiang Qiu stated his idea with a deadpan expression. ’This is nothing out of the ordinary,’ he thought. ’Isn’t this the very path the Human Race took, step by step, in the beginning?’

Soaking, or bathing, in the blood isn’t the most efficient way to absorb the essence of a Demon Race bloodline—in fact, its efficiency is quite low. However, for a creature completely incapable of channeling Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm, the subtle, transformative tempering process it provides is excellent.

’Even though we’re in the Dragon Emperor Secret Realm now, the fundamental principles shouldn’t be too different. After all, we’re all living creatures. If something as basic as soaking in Essence Blood doesn’t work, then there’s truly no other way.’

’As for refining Su Fragrance... that was a true test of skill. I remember how I obtained the Advanced Su Fragrance, the Demon King’s Origin, from the Red Flame Spider Mother and used it to ascend to the next level.’
