Chapter 512 321: Isabel Pays a Visit
Li Wen casually strolled through the villa, taking it all in.
A cultivation room, a meditation room, a study, a reception hall, a lounge, and even a small martial arts testing ground... The functional areas were comprehensive, and all the equipment was top-of-the-line.
Both the energy concentration and spatial stability far surpassed those of the Seventh Base, more than sufficient to meet the cultivation and testing needs of a Star Lord Level expert.
Just as Li Wen had familiarized himself with the villa's layout and was about to plan his upcoming cultivation on the imperial planet and how to acquire more resources, a notification from his Star Pivot sounded in his mind:
"Master, there is a visitor at the courtyard gate."
"A visitor?" Li Wen's brow furrowed slightly, a flicker of genuine confusion in his eyes.
'I only just arrived on the imperial planet, and someone's already at my door?'
On Alka Star, he could count the people he knew on one hand.
"Project the real-time feed from the gate," Li Wen mentally commanded.
He didn't use his spiritual sense, as the entire Source Net branch was restricted by an Array that compressed his senses to a mere hundred-meter radius.
The moment the thought formed, a light screen in the center of the living room instantly lit up, clearly displaying the scene outside the courtyard gate.
The screen revealed a figure that took him by surprise—Isabel.
She wasn't wearing her usual combat attire today, but rather a moon-white, perfectly tailored long dress. The soft fabric flawlessly accentuated her breathtaking curves.
Her features were as exquisite as ever, like a divine creation. Her long silver hair cascaded over her shoulders, shimmering faintly in the light of the imperial planet's sun.
Her azure eyes were clear and profound, and a faint, almost imperceptible smile played on her lips, making her look like a goddess who had stepped out of an ancient painting.
'It's really her...' Li Wen turned off the projection, his gaze flickering as his suspicion deepened.
Though he had defeated her in the arena, they had no personal connection.
However, considering this was the core area of the Source Net branch where security was absolute, and she was no match for him, he had nothing to fear.
With a flicker of thought, he vanished from the living room and reappeared just inside the courtyard gate.
The automated sensor system silently opened the gate.
"Li Wen!" Upon seeing him appear so suddenly, the faint smile on Isabel's face deepened. Her voice was clear and pleasant, holding no trace of hostility.
Li Wen's gaze rested calmly on her, his tone probing. "Isabel? You're here to...?"
"Don't worry, I'm not here for revenge or to cause trouble." Isabel seemed to see through his reservations, her azure eyes meeting his directly, holding a hint of imperceptible slyness.
"What, are you not going to invite your 'old friend' inside? That's not the Blue Star way of treating guests, is it?"
"Please." Hearing her words, Li Wen didn't say anything more and stepped aside, clearing the path.
'Since she mentioned "Blue Star," things might be more complicated than I thought.'
Isabel gave an elegant nod and followed Li Wen into the villa.
They passed through a meticulously arranged front garden planted with strange, glowing flora and entered the spacious, bright living room.
The smart system had already registered their presence and silently lowered two comfortable, ergonomic hover-chairs in the center of the room.
On the crystal coffee table nearby, it also presented two drinks that shimmered with pure energy and boasted magnificent colors.
They both took a seat.
Li Wen dispensed with the pleasantries. He lifted the drink, which radiated a gentle energy, took a sip, and turned his gaze back to Isabel, getting straight to the point.
"Now, can you tell me why you're here?"
'I highly doubt she would show up for no reason the moment I've settled in, especially after changing into casual attire.'
Isabel smiled faintly, a smile that held an indescribable charm.
She didn't answer directly. Instead, she spoke in a tone that held a strange cadence, "Li Wen, have you ever heard of the 'Moon Spirit Race'?"
Li Wen paused for a moment. He had never come across that name in any files or Star Pivot data.
Before Li Wen could answer, Isabel's slender, pale fingers gently traced the rim of her cup as she continued.
"I am of the Moon Spirit Race. And among my people, my current title is 'Moon Oracle.'"
After she spoke, she lowered her head slightly, her long lashes casting shadows as a faint blush seemed to grace her pale cheeks. She then raised her drink and took a delicate sip.
Though the shy demeanor of the elven beauty before him was indeed breathtaking, what filled Li Wen's mind wasn't romantic sentiment, but profound confusion.
He had no idea what she was getting at by suddenly announcing her race and title.
"Moon Spirit Race? Moon Oracle?" Li Wen repeated the two unfamiliar terms, his brow furrowed in pure confusion as he asked,
"Is... there something special about that? Or rather, what does it have to do with you seeking me out?"
Hearing the genuine, unfeigned confusion in Li Wen's voice, Isabel—who had just lowered her head in a moment of shyness—instantly looked up.
Her azure eyes were filled with astonishment. She looked at Li Wen with a slight frown. "You... you don't know?"
"Know what?" Li Wen was even more baffled. It felt like they weren't even on the same wavelength.
"Didn't you say you're from Blue Star?" Isabel's tone became serious and direct.
"Combined with your physical appearance—humanoid, black hair, black eyes... are you not from that azure life-bearing planet on the Orion Arm, at the edge of the Lain Empire's Tianhe System—Blue Star?"
"How do you know all that?!" This time, it was Li Wen's turn to be genuinely shocked. He subconsciously sat up straight, his gaze turning sharp as a blade.
He had admitted to being from a "Blue Star," but the universe was vast. Planets with that name, or similar ones, were as numerous as grains of sand.
