When Luo Nan heard the name ‘Zhixia Cangya’, his entire body went numb.
‘Am I really this unlucky? Just taking a casual stroll and I get dragged into an event related to the female protagonist?’
‘And isn’t ‘Silver Moon Sky Wolf’ supposed to make her debut only after school starts? Why is she already in the slave merchant house now?’

By now, the distance between Shion, Luo Nan, and the little wolf girl had shortened to less than three meters, making the contents of the parchment clearly visible.
Most of the text consisted of moving, twisted, and unrecognizable strange characters. Luo Nan guessed these were ‘Abyssal Script’, connecting to that Demon Lord to maintain the ‘enslavement’ effect.
Meanwhile, the portion written in the mainstream human common language only bore the name ‘Zhixia Cangya’, while the space for the other contracting party remained blank.
“Destroy it!”
The little wolf girl’s emotions visibly heightened, and the small hand resting on Luo Nan’s neck tightened again.

With that, Shion made a motion as if about to tear up the parchment.

He turned his head and carefully observed the little wolf girl, who was still lying on the ground, her body convulsing uncontrollably.
Her messy, silver hair, longer than her hips, spread out randomly. The slightly oversized coarse linen nightgown had slipped off her shoulder, revealing a delicate collarbone and snow-white shoulder. Around her neck hung a black collar engraved with magical circuits.
Her large, beautiful eyes, resembling glaciers, seemed misted with tears. Her petite face clenched her teeth tightly, but apparently the pain was too intense, forcing her small mouth slightly open to reveal two porcelain-white little fangs.
But the most eye-catching features were the pair of fluffy silver wolf ears atop her head and the silver wolf tail growing from her tailbone.
When Luo Nan locked eyes with her, seeing this pitiful little creature, he couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy.
“Mr. Crow, please quickly move away from her—this one is very dangerous!”
Seeing that her temporarily invoked contract authority had taken effect, Shion hurriedly warned Luo Nan.

With that, she once again invoked the contract’s power to ‘punish’ Zhixia.
“Ahh!!! Ohhh…”
The little wolf girl’s screams echoed through the room, her small hands desperately clutching the collar around her neck.
Watching this scene, Luo Nan felt somewhat unbearable, and thus felt he should say something.
“Mr. Crow, I deeply apologize for startling you. On behalf of ‘Snow Wolf Lily’s Cottage,’ I offer my sincerest apologies. Additionally, we will absolutely compensate you for any losses!”
Having stood back up, Shion now assumed a humble, submissive posture, bowing deeply as if wishing to bury herself into the ground.
