Global Deities: Rising as Wood Elves' God

This meant that as long as Zhang Yi provided sufficient resources, he could hunt Giant Beasts with pure enough bloodlines—those with Giant Dragon blood—in the Inner Earth World for his two Elf Dragon Eggs to absorb.

It was possible for Zhang Yi to send out an Elf Dragon with Legendary Level strength to conquer the Dragon Blood Giant Beasts during the early or middle stages of the competition.

And given the strict bloodline hierarchy within the Dragon Clan,

theoretically, the Elf Dragon could rely on its own bloodline to directly control those Giant Beasts that possessed Dragon Clan blood but had not yet reached the Legendary Level.

If the Elf Dragon conquered a group of Giant Beasts with Dragon Clan blood and made them submit to it,

then it could dispatch this group of Dragon Clan-blooded Giant Beasts to help it conquer other Giant Beasts.

The force assembled by the Elf Dragon could potentially snowball, growing faster and bigger!

This was far better than the Legendary Level Pioneer Corps Commander Eric conquering Giant Beasts one by one.

Zhang Yi’s idea was undoubtedly a good one.

The only problem was whether Zhang Yi’s Clan would even encounter Giant Beasts with Dragon Clan blood in the Inner Earth World while completing their mission.

As for whether his Clan could kill the Giant Beasts after encountering them...

Zhang Yi wasn’t worried about that in the slightest.

Fortunately, the hidden mission had no time limit.

Zhang Yi could start completing this hidden mission at any point.

And before leaving his Divine Realm,

Zhang Yi had also relayed the news that a new divine war would begin in a few days

to Elf High Priest Shamiel in the form of an Oracle.

Zhang Yi trusted that the experienced Elf High Priest Shamiel

would be able to complete

the new Oracle he had commanded.

...

「Two days passed in a flash.」

The Xuanwu-III Type Integrated Warship sailed steadily along its route through Subspace.

When the warship dropped out of warp and reappeared in a normal Star Realm,

Zhang Yi, who had been gazing out the porthole, immediately took in the scene outside.

The sight before him was breathtaking.

However, it wasn’t breathtakingly beautiful, but breathtakingly strange.

The planet that housed the Inner Earth World was abnormally massive, so large it was hard to imagine.

But the surface of this incomparably huge planet was covered in a complex, winding network of jagged cracks.

These fissures varied in depth and size.

Some were wide enough to pilot a small warship through;

some were so narrow that only a single person could pass through;

and some were incredibly deep.

Even with Zhang Yi’s strength as a Ninth Transformation Demigod, he couldn’t see the bottom of them at a glance.

Looking down into some of the wider fissures, he could even see a dark red glow emanating from the depths, as if magma were flowing deep inside the planet...

Even stranger, surrounding this Inner Earth World,

were hundreds of floating fragments of varying sizes.

These fragments looked like pieces that had been sheared off from the crack-covered planet before him.

Some fragments were hundreds of kilometers in diameter;

while others were only a few kilometers across...

They slowly revolved around the crack-riddled planet.

It seemed they had become satellites of the Inner Earth World.

And on the surface of these satellites, these World Fragments, there even appeared to be life.

’Is this the Inner Earth World?’

Zhang Yi wondered.

This seemed a bit different from the Inner Earth World he had imagined.

From the outside, it didn’t look at all like a world that could nurture Giant Beasts.

It didn’t even seem suitable for any life whatsoever.

The Inner Earth World Zhang Yi had originally pictured

was simply one where there was no life on the surface,

with all the Giant Beasts having moved underground to live.

But now, seeing the sight before him,

Zhang Yi knew he had to discard his previous fantasies and re-evaluate the potential dangers this Inner Earth World posed.

Just then, Zhang Yi’s personal terminal received a message from Chief Instructor Yang.

"Notice: All cadets who have received this message, please proceed immediately to the multipurpose training ground on the third deck of the Xuanwu-III Type Integrated Warship to assemble."

"The third round of the University Alliance Training Camp’s exchange competition is about to officially begin!"

Seeing the message on his personal terminal,

Zhang Yi pulled his gaze away from the porthole and changed into the combat uniform that the instructors had prepared for them during the Yanhuang Federal Region assessment.

Arriving on the third deck of the Xuanwu-III Type Integrated Warship,

on the multipurpose training ground,

the atmosphere was visibly much more tense than before.

The cadets from the five different federal regions of the Blue Star Federation had automatically formed up into five separate formations.

Under the leadership of their captain, Zhang Yi, the cadets of the Yanhuang Federation were strictly disciplined.

Over with the White Eagle Federation, Candidate Saint Child Elias still had a gloomy expression, but a vengeful fire to redeem his prior humiliation now burned in his eyes.

As for the Giant Bear Federation, every one of them was a warmonger at heart, and their leader, Andre, was rubbing his hands together in anticipation,

clearly unable to wait for things to start.

With the Holy Roman Federation,

this time, there seemed to be no difficulty in choosing a representative.

Royal Princess Sofia stood at the very front.

In the previous contest to determine the world for the exchange competition, Sofia’s actions had clearly won her the support of more cadets.

Thus, she had triumphed over the young noble and the young scholar to become the temporary representative of the Holy Roman Federation.

Meanwhile, with the Third World Federation, most of the cadets were gathered together quietly.

Their leader, Harimo, was even meditating with his eyes closed, seemingly adjusting his condition.

Among the cadets from the different federations, exchanged glances and provocative gestures were endless.

The superficial peace they had previously managed to maintain was long gone.

The leaders of each federal region, including Zhang Yi, didn’t intervene.

After all, all the cadets understood

that now, they were rivals!

When Vice Admiral Qin Rui walked onto the stage, the entire training ground—all two hundred fifty cadets and the five supervising instructors—fell completely silent.

"Cadets of the University Alliance Training Camp."

Vice Admiral Qin Rui’s voice, amplified by Divine Power, echoed throughout the third deck of the warship.

"At this moment, the Xuanwu-III Type Integrated Warship has reached the periphery of the Inner Earth World."

As he spoke, a holographic projection of the Inner Earth World’s exterior appeared behind him.

"As you can see, this is a planet with an extremely complex and unique geological structure!"

"These fissures covering the planet’s surface extend all the way to the edge of the core, where they form hollow spaces of various sizes."

"These hollow spaces are the Inner Earth World where the Giant Beasts live!"

At this point, Vice Admiral Qin Rui paused for a moment, giving the cadets time to observe the planet’s exterior.

After a moment, Vice Admiral Qin Rui continued:

"Furthermore, the hollow spaces within are not isolated. They are connected by passages to other spaces, both small and large."

"These subterranean spaces are interconnected, forming the unique environment where the Giant Beasts live."

The hologram switched from an external view to an internal one.

Looking at the projection, Zhang Yi felt that the interior of the Inner Earth World was like a gigantic, multi-layered onion.

Except, the gaps between each layer of "skin" were much larger.

However, what Vice Admiral Qin Rui said next quickly drew all the cadets’ attention away from the diagram. They all perked up their ears to listen intently.

"Next, I will announce the rules for acquiring Points in the third round of the University Alliance Training Camp’s exchange competition, as well as the rewards for first place in the team and individual Point rankings."

"First, the fifty cadets from each federal region will form five large teams."

"The five large teams, led by your respective leaders, will each select a small warship and enter the Inner Earth World through the fissures."

"Under your team leader’s command, you may split into smaller squads."

"However, without your leader’s command, you are not permitted to operate in squads or act alone."

"The Points acquired by each individual will also be tallied for your team, forming a total team score."

"Finally, for the large team with the highest score among the five, every cadet will receive a reward: one Five-star Unrivaled Quality Divine Domain Card of their choice, and a small World Fragment!"

"As for the large teams that rank second, third, fourth, and fifth, they will only receive a consolation-style prize."

"Namely, the reward of choosing any one Five-star Rare Quality Divine Domain Card."
