Extra's Pov: The Goddess Wants Me To Conquer Milfs

Chapter 223: Conquer Without Limits

"What’s this? Number one secret to the apocalypse? What the hell?"

Lucas glanced at the screen infront of him with a dumbfounded expression on his face.

He had just completed the game, daemon’s descent, which he had been playing since his childhood, and received the rewards.

However that was it?

’That’s fucking it? I spent so much time playing this game all to receive this?’ Lucas continued staring at the screen in disbelief.

He wanted the system screen to change, however it showed no changes even after he stared at it for a long time.

He let out a low exhale, and his fingers twitched against the mouse.

He was about to cancel it out when curiosity got the better of him and he clicked to open the reward.

Instantly, a guidebook appeared infront of him, detailing the rules of an apocalypse, and the means to survive it.

’Is there gonna be a new release to the game?’ Lucas muttered to himself.

’I heard the company shut down years ago. But if there’s gonna be a new release, then it would perfectly explain the need for an apocalypse guide.’

Lucas took a brief read through the information and noticed there were alot of things mentioned.

It was said that one should be cautious of whatever the consumed during the apocalypse because all food would be altered by mana, the energy which would bring about the apocalypse.

There was also the fact that one should train to grow as strong as possible because monsters and beasts that had been altered by mana grew at a similarly abnormal rate.

’Input all points into luck?’ Lucas read further and realized that the messaged a ’secret’ method to obtaining a unique awakening.

He continued reading and gradually grew lost in how interesting and life-like the guide made the apocalypse.

Just then, a defeaning thunder echoed through the skies and a bright flash of white light erupted.

Even though it was night, it made every seem like day time for a moment.

Lucas glanced outside in shock as the thunder illuminated the surroundings.

He stared in a daze for a moment as he watched the light gradually recede until it became nonexistent.

’What... was that?’ Lucas had never seen such a thunder before, and reading about the apocalypse was already making him feel agitated.

’I have classes tomorrow I should get some rest.’

Lucas stood up from his gaming chair and turned off his computer.

He let out a light yawn and stretched, feeling a little headache due to staying up so late.

With light steps he walked over to the bed and collapsed onto it.

Just as he was about drifting off to sleep, he heard a faint whisper in his mind and a mechanical chime echoed.

[Ding! Welcome Humans to a new era!]

[You have received 10 free Attribute Points. Please distribute them to the five initial attributes.]

[You have 60 seconds to make a decision or points will be assigned randomly.]

Lucas’ eyes shot open in confusion and he stared at the screen, taken aback.

’A new era?’

He glanced at the first line of holographic words when he noticed the timer already ticking down.

He had a little over 50 seconds left.

’Fuck!" Lucas jolted from the bed quickly scrambling to open the five initial attributes the system talked about.

...

Strength: 2

Speed: 2

Magic: 0

Constitution: 1

Luck: 1

...

Lucas stared at the screen in a little confusion.

The timer had ticked down to 40 seconds while he read through it.

His heart began pounding and his mind frantically analyzed how he would assign his attributes.

Just then, he recalled the guide he had read about.

’The apocalypse guide.’

He wasn’t paying attention previously but he felt he had read something related to this in the guide?

35 seconds.

Lucas quickly rushed off the bed and turned on his computer which took 2 seconds.

His movements were frantic as he quickly pulled open the game.

It took ten seconds to load making Lucas’ heart pound in alarm.

He was down to 21 seconds.

’Fuck... fuck... fuck...’ Lucas heart was beating rapidly as the screen displayed his reward from before.

Without hesitation he scrolled down, his eyes scanning through the entire apocalypse guide at an alarming speed.

’Here it is...’

He was down to ten seconds, thankfully he spotted what the guide had to saw about attribute points.

[Secret rule: its is much effective to assign each attribute to luck]

’Luck?’ Lucas glanced at the screen infront of him.

9... 8... 7...

It had begun ticking down mercilessly.

He didnt have much time left.

Should he assign his stats now, or follow what some random guide had to say?

Lucas was caught in a Delima.

5... 4... 3...

The moment the timer was down to 5, it turned red and began beeping loudly in his mind, alerting him of his reality.

’Fuck... assign all to luck.’

Lucas could only place his hopes on the secret rule.

If it all turned out to be useless he was screwed.

His only option would be to find the game developers and battle it out with them, after all who would play such an expensive joke on a person?

Lucas felt his heart gradually grow calm as he made his decision.

The soft glow of the monitor illuminated his handsome facial features.

Seconds later, a drawing panel appeared before Lucas.

[Please spin the wheel to draw a talent.]

[Please note all players are allowed to spin the wheel between 2 - 10 times, with each time granting one a talent.]

[Spinning slots are assigned randomly, depending on how Lucky you are.]

Lucas noticed there were 9 colors on the wheel, probably representing 9 ranks of talents.

He read through the message and instantly understood.

A person could have a minimum of 2 talents, in essence two abilities.

And a maximum of 10 abilities.

’If I can get ten...’ Lucas understood that his life would change drastically if he could draw ten, but that was a pipe dream.

It was unknown how many times he would be able to draw, he could only go along with the process and see how many talents he ends up drawing.

Lucas swallowed. Thankfully there was no timer to put pressure on him this time.

He could calmly return his attention back to the study guide to see if there were any tips that could help him.

Unfortunately for him this time, there was none.

’Here goes nothing...’ Lucas thought to himself and stretched his hand.

The wheel seemed lifelike and as his hand came in contact with it, it became tangible.

He hesitated for only a second before spinning it.

Swoosh!

The wheel immediately began spinning rapidly.

Lucas stared at the wheel, his heart beating as he didnt realize what each color meant.

Ding!

A chime echoed as the wheel came to stop at the golden slot.

[Congratulations! You have awakened an SSS-rank talent!]

Lucas glanced at the notification and his heart instantly leapt up in joy.

Sss-rank?

As an avid gamer he understood what sss-rank stood for.

It was the pinnacle of power!

And he had drawn it?

Lucas stared at it for a moment, his heart still pounding excitedly.

The notification vanished soon after, fading into the background as the wheel became the center focus again.

Lucas swallowed as he realized it was time for his second draw.

Since he had already gotten an sss-rank talent, he felt at ease.

The rank of the second talent didnt matter much.

With the sss-rank talent, the sky was his limit!

Lucas spun the wheel without any expectations and it began spinning.

It spun rapidly before another ’ding’ echoed and a soft golden light illuminated Lucas’ dumbfounded facial features.

[Congratulations! You have awakened an SSS-rank talent!]

The words appearing infront of him confirmed his guess.

Lucas stared at it with a speechless expression.

’Another SSS-rank talent? What are the odds?’

He swallowed.

Just then, the screen faded and Lucas tried to calm his racing heart as he spun the wheel again.

’Surely it wont be another SSS-rank talent would it?’

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

...

The wheel still didnt vanish and Lucas continued spinning it, his mind already numb from having 3 sss-rank abilities.

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

[Congratulations! You have awakened a SSS-rank talent!]

...

Lucas stared blankly as the spinning wheel finally vanished and the message displaying the the had awakened ten sss-rank talents filled his vision.

’How’s this possible?’ Lucas was speechless staring at the screen.

A new line of words appeared before him.
