Chapter 123 - 171
The metal burrowed deeper into my flesh, the sensation of it digging into my bone marrow felt as if there was an itch that I couldn’t catch.

As the battle against the false demon king continued, my strength increased with every swing of my blade.
"GUUUURAAAAWH!" The armor roared, running on all fours before thrusting a claw at the demon that had formed as my evergrowing rage filled the force armor.
Swinging a claw and the blade one after another, I had lost all strength within my flesh but the iron carried the weight of my sorrow.
Bending my body all the way back, I swung downwards.
With a smug look on his face, the false king extended both arms to the side, purposely leaving himself wide open for an attack.
But his face grew pale, as a splatter of blood poured across his chest.
"...I–Impossible–!"
Grasping for air with a growl, the fatigue in my body was slowly setting in as the fatigue started to wear off.
No... not yet!
With a thunderous stomp, I swung the tip of the blade into the demon’s chest.
The false king’s face twisted with anger, his teeth gnawed.
Throwing a punch at the blade of the fire hero sword, his fist was propelled back.
However the blade aura, wind blade, and excaliburn had extinguished.
My mana had completely depleted.
"Hold on..." Blood rose up from my throat, causing me to cough profusely.
"Just hold on... until this battle is over..." I commanded the fire hero sword.
With those words, something felt different.
The hero sword shunned as a soft burning sensation welled up inside me.
T-This feeling, could it be soul resonance?
I don’t exactly know what it’s called, but Incus had managed to summon the hero’s swords at command.
At first I suspected that she had an item with a pocket dimension with the ability to store it somewhere but that wouldn’t be right.
But then at some point, I started suspecting that the hero swords were some kind of ego weapon.
The soft fire that was caressing my soul was giving me a message.
For some reason I understood what the fire hero sword was telling me.
...This is going to be our final battle together.
"You really like to prove me wrong." The false king laughed, throwing his head back, "But look at you... you no longer resemble a monster but are a monster."
Stepping forward, the false demon king threw a punch.
As he threw a barrage of formless punches, the hero sword in my hands was becoming duller with every exchange.
"GREEWWAAAAAAAAAACKK!" The force armor roared, moving even faster.
I could feel my muscle fibers ripping apart and my bones cracking.
My right eye was dripping a fountain of blood as a throbbing headache seeped into my brain.
It was as if my brain had turned into a rock.
My body was no longer mine but belonged to the rage that refused to die down.
"Alle...us."
My vision became blurry, but the metal from the force armor forced my right eye to stay open.
"UUUAAAAARAAAGH!" The armor roared, pushing the false demon back.
His facial expression was calm as if he realised something.
Raising the fire hero sword, the force armor swung downwards.
The false king tried jumping back to dodge and dive into the black soot, but the force of the slash had somehow pulled him towards me.
Just like how fans work, a suction of wind was created that pulled him in.
Skewering the false king’s abdomen not with the blade but with a clawing hand, the demon looked down at me with sorrow.
"KYEEEEEEEEEEERAAAGH!" The force armor slammed him into the ground, slashing the demon multiple times.
Not letting go of the hero sword, the force armor then changed the attack to a restless barrage of punches.
With each punch, the demon sank deeper into the ground.
The impact of each blow echoed with the loud sound of metal panging against hard flesh.
Stomping on the demon’s wrist, the force armor kept attacking.
***
After about five minutes, the demon had turned into a mush of flesh.
The demon no longer breathed.
I wanted to tell off the force armor to retract itself but it kept feeding off my rage.
"Urghh..!" I tried to take back my body but I stopped.
I was too weak and I don’t know what would happen to me if the force armor went back to its original form.
With a loud roar, the force armor jumped up into the sky and looked at the demon king who was sitting on the throne.
No... don’t do it...
This force armor was thinking of attacking the real thing.
Shifting his eyes, the true demon king looked met my eyes.
A spine chilling sensation ran down my whole body.
The force armor took a step forward, but my body immediately froze and the metal that encased me started to creak.
In my peripheral vision, I watched as Incus finished the remaining false demon kings.
Stepping on a demon’s back, she pulled out her blade from a corpse.
"Haha! How marvelous, my skin is throbbing with excitement!" The true demon king applauded, "No let’s see how you fare against your true self."
The true demon king stared down Incus before briefly looking at me.
Clapping his hands, a person who had the same face and height as Incus started to peek out of the black fountain of soot behind him.
Floating down, a young woman who was an exact copy of Incus stood in front of the real Incus.
"Tch, just hurry up and battle me you bastard–!" Incus snared, but her clone suddenly attacked her with all of the hero swords behind her.
Engaging in a clash of blades, I mumbled with strain:
"...Check... status."
Looking down at her status window, I checked her attributes:
