Chapter 296: Planning to Leave the Macedonian Island
Xiao Hua's boyfriend left, striding forward with a heroic and imposing air.
Meanwhile, Xiao Q, Xiao Peng, Ke Bei, and Xiao Hua remained there without leaving.
The several of them turned to look behind them. Since the water slides had been mostly dismantled and there were barriers blocking the view, only the highest platform was visible.
They then looked around to the left, right, and into the distance.
They discovered that many people were still playing on the other facilities within the water park.

If they had known that so many people had died in this water slide, they probably would have been scared off long ago, each one running faster than the next.
The four of them briefly collected their emotions and began returning to the hotel.
During their journey back to the hotel, Xiao Peng suddenly said, "If my buddy who's currently serving time in prison knew that Wang Ju died, he'd probably be very sad."
"But then again, Wang Ju deserved it. Who told her to abandon my friend? I bet she and her boyfriend in that slide were just like you and your boyfriend, Xiao Hua." Xiao Peng's mouth remained venomous toward Wang Ju even though she was already dead.
Yet from his words, one could still detect a sense of gleeful schadenfreude.
Xiao Hua, who through this incident might have had hope of reconciling with Xiao Peng, heard these words.

But now, he noticed that his friend didn't even smile, his face remained serious the entire time, as if something very serious had happened.
