It may have been a matter of intelligence. Perhaps a matter of the size or capacity of the brain. We do not understand them completely. But the rules are unmistakable.
Rules between individuals. Rules of response. They existed somewhere between language and nonlanguage. No different from humans at all.
“Yeon-woo.”

Lying still.
Unable to move.
