Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss

Chapter 423 - 421: His Lips Are Very Kissable?

"Your lips are nice to kiss."

"Your lips are nice to kiss."

Nice to kiss.

The words she left him with still echoed in his ears.

Javier Sinclair stood rooted to the spot, silent, the image of her kissing him replaying in his mind.

He lowered his head slightly.

’Her lips were so soft.’

’No, no... What am I thinking?’

His fingers lightly brushed against his lips. Though the only sound here was the whisper of the wind, Javier Sinclair felt a sense of shame. ’I should get out of here.’

The woman’s face appeared in his mind, and he muttered, "How outrageous."

Her scent lingered in the air, but she was nowhere to be seen. Javier Sinclair glanced around the area and, after a moment of silence, vanished from the spot...

「Meanwhile, in the Cultivation World.」

Celeste Grant was already back on her bed.

Her gaze swept across her surroundings.

’This is Cloud Abyss Hall.’

’This is still my familiar room in the Cultivation World.’

"I’m back."

’It feels like I came back in the blink of an eye. Nothing seems to have changed.’

She raised a hand to touch her lips. The sensation felt real. So, in that instant, she really had traveled fifteen thousand years into the past, gone to the Demon Realm, and met the Demon God. She’d even pinned him against a wall and kissed him.

As she glanced down, she saw the Mysterious Ancient Mirror in her hand.

Thinking of Javier Sinclair...

She held the Ancient Mirror before her eyes. Although it was still glowing, she couldn’t see his figure within it. Celeste Grant knew he was intentionally blocking her view. ’That Old Fiend Sinclair... what a jerk.’

"But still..."

She murmured, unable to keep from smiling as she recalled his stunned expression. "He must be so embarrassed right now, looking for a place to calm down."

She was sure of it; as the Demon God, Javier Sinclair would probably remember her pinning him to the wall for the rest of his life. ’Fate really is a wondrous thing,’ Celeste Grant thought. ’You might think your fated encounter is happening now, but in reality, you may have met long, long ago. Isn’t my situation a perfect example of that?’

Looking at the Mysterious Ancient Mirror in her hand, she recalled that her original goal had been to find her child’s father, but the time had been wrong.

"What is the correct way to use this Ancient Mirror?"

’I came back before I even had the chance to ask him about it.’

"I wonder how Javier Sinclair is doing over in the Demonic Domain."

She was pregnant now.

She desperately wanted to tell him right away, but she couldn’t get in touch with that jerk of a man. She looked down at her belly and stroked it gently. "Baby, when is your daddy coming back?"

It wasn’t that she was being overly sentimental; Celeste Grant simply hoped that Javier Sinclair would be by her side when she gave birth, just like the first time.

Celeste Grant remembered when she gave birth to their son, The Archfiend had stood waiting right outside her door. Her Cultivation was low back then, and the pain of giving birth to Annie had been unbearable. It hurt so much that she’d cursed Javier Sinclair’s head off. But he hadn’t gotten angry. Instead, he had deliberately provoked her, giving her the strength to push through labor.

’Thinking back on it, he really was a good man.’

Even for Cultivators, childbirth was incredibly painful, so if Javier Sinclair were around, she could at least take it out on him. Besides, this was the daughter he’d been longing for. If he missed the birth, he would surely regret it for the rest of his life.

Her fingers.

They tapped idly against the mirror’s surface.

"The Demonic Domain."

She murmured in a low voice.

Then, as her gaze swept over the Ancient Mirror, the two words "Demonic Domain" appeared at the top, and an image materialized.

Seeing this, Celeste Grant instantly sat up straight.

"Huh?"

The scene currently displayed in the Ancient Mirror unfolded before her.

A vast, formidable ancient city wall rose into view.

Her line of sight was filled with ancient, towering palaces whose pillars were carved with blood-red runes. Skulls of all sizes hung in several places, and the walls of the buildings themselves were encrusted with various Spirit Stones and Demon Spirit Stones—an image of extreme extravagance.

’This must be the Demonic Domain.’

’The towering banners are a dead giveaway.’

’Plus, there’s this sinister aesthetic... and the outer moat—no, that’s a burning sea of lava that looks just like a river.’

Within the image,

a battlefield unfolded.

This was the border between the Immortal Domain and the Demonic Domain, where a river of steaming lava, burning with roaring flames, separated the two realms.

Two elderly men dressed as Cultivators were hanging from a flagpole planted in the sea of fire, swaying gently in the wind. Their bloodcurdling screams could be heard from time to time.

Pyre Beasts from the lava would occasionally leap up and take a bite out of them. The scene was truly gruesome.

"AHHH... Javier Sinclair, you Demon! I won’t let you get away with this!"

"Demon, if you have any guts, let us go!"

"Javier Sinclair, you Demon! You’ll die a horrible death!"

Just then, Celeste Grant finally spotted a figure suspended in mid-air on the other side.

He was sitting in a Flying Palace, one leg crossed over the other, leaning back with a wicked, arrogant smirk on his face. The Flying Palace was draped with fluttering black gauze curtains and wreathed in Demonic Qi. Behind him, the sky was blotted out by a massive throng of Demonic Domain Cultivators. They filled not only the air but also the ground below; as far as the eye could see, there were only Cultivators from the Demonic Domain.

This time, the Holy Land of the Immortal Domain had suffered a devastating loss. They had taken advantage of Javier Sinclair’s absence to attack the Demonic Domain. They’d originally thought the Demonic Domain’s resources would be theirs for the taking, but their celebration was cut short when Javier Sinclair returned and counterattacked, slaughtering them until their forces were completely routed. With more than half of their army dead or wounded, the invading Cultivators from the Immortal Domain had no choice but to retreat. As they left, however, they didn’t forget to shout some threats.

"Demon, we will be back!"

In response, Javier Sinclair couldn’t be bothered to pay them any mind.

The ones who had been captured and hung there were an elder from the Holy Land of the Immortal Domain, along with its second and third-in-command.

"Guests have come from afar, and I, This One, was unsure how to properly entertain you. So I can only invite you to warm yourselves by the fire. I wonder if the two of you are satisfied."

Hearing this, the Cultivators hanging there were so enraged they spat blood.

"Demon, don’t get so arrogant!"

Javier Sinclair glanced at them and sneered. "Didn’t you all claim I was already dead? That you’d made my bones into a skeleton and hung it on the walls of the Immortal Domain?"

"Heh! You made it sound so convincing. Now that This One has come back from the dead, don’t you have any other brilliant thoughts?"

They gritted their teeth at his words.

’We clearly received word that this Demon, Javier Sinclair, died in a great battle. So why isn’t he dead?’

The Cultivator hanging on the flagpole above the roiling sea of fire felt utterly humiliated. "Demon, even if I die, thousands upon thousands of Cultivators from the Immortal Domain will rise up to take your life! Don’t you be so arrogant!"

As soon as his voice fell,

the Demonic Domain Cultivators burst out laughing, doubling over with mirth.

"Dammit, you old geezers are all talk. When it’s time to actually fight, every last one of you is a coward who just hides in his shell!"

"A bunch of clowns like you want to take The Exalted One’s life? You even claimed you already killed him. As if you’re worthy!"
