Chapter 667 - 665: Returning to the Demon Realm
’Gone! My Swarm army is gone, completely wiped out. No, how could this be?’
’This was the Abyssal Aberration I paid a great price to find. Wasn’t it supposed to help me conquer the Demon Realm and destroy the Immortal Realm? Why was it annihilated so easily?’
’This isn’t what I imagined. It shouldn’t be like this.’
At this thought, his voice rose.
"You think I’ll believe you? That’s the Ancient Abyssal Brood! An Abyssal Aberration left over from Ancient Times! They’re incredibly powerful beings!"
Javier Sinclair glanced up at him and said coolly, "I’ve told you before, you should read more. Look at you, so utterly clueless. Don’t the ancient texts in your Immortal Realm tell you who destroyed The Abyss?"
Ian Valerius froze. He truly didn’t know. His status in Empyria was so low that he’d never had the chance to read such precious ancient texts. So when he heard this, he instinctively asked.
"Who?"
Realization dawned on him. "It... it was you."
Javier Sinclair’s gaze swept over him as he said in a low voice, "During Ancient Times, the Aberrant Beasts in The Abyss were indeed quite strong. It was just their misfortune to run into me."
That was a long, long time ago. The Aberrant Beasts in The Abyss had tried to devour him, so Javier Sinclair had casually slaughtered his way through their entire realm. Since then, The Abyss has been nothing but a graveyard for those aberrations and beasts, a barren wasteland where nothing grows to this day.
Thinking of this, he added softly, "The skeletons of those Abyssal Aberrant Beasts are probably still lying there. If you ever visit The Abyss, you might even see them. I just never expected a few little bugs to have escaped back then."
Ian Valerius took a step back. Even with his limited knowledge, he knew just how terrifying a place like The Abyss was.
Though The Abyss had been destroyed, legends about it from Ancient Times still persisted. It was said that even if the great powers of that era entered, less than one in ten would survive. Any who made it out alive were peerless experts in their own right.
’This is the Demon God, the number one killer of the Six Realms. His power is truly terrifying.’ So the Abyssal Primalids were annihilated, and his Swarm army was truly gone. At that moment, his heart ached with grief and fury.
He looked at Javier Sinclair and snarled, "You destroyed my life’s work! Do you have any idea how much I sacrificed for those Abyssal Primalids? Aren’t you the Demon God? As the exalted ruler of the Demon Realm, why aren’t you trying to overthrow the Six Realms? Why must you oppose me?"
Javier Sinclair glanced at him and said coolly, "If your brain is broken, go get it fixed."
Ian Valerius’s face was a mask of resentment. He stared at Javier Sinclair and said, "You’ll regret this. You will definitely regret this."
As he spoke, the cracked Space Treasure in his hand flared with light, and Ian Valerius’s figure vanished in an instant.
Javier Sinclair’s gaze turned to the void.
He snapped his fingers.
And sent the man directly to the Crown Prince of Empyria. Empyria must already know that Ian Valerius had brought the Abyssal Primalids to wreak havoc upon the Twin Realms. They certainly wouldn’t let him off the hook.
’Let them fight amongst themselves! As for how he ends up dying, that’s a matter for the Celestria. As a Demon of the Demon Realm, it’s none of my business.’
’The main reason is that Ian Valerius is still useful alive. I have a feeling that keeping this guy around will come in handy later. As for what use that might be, I’m in no hurry to find out.’
Stepping into the void, Javier Sinclair’s figure vanished in an instant.
When he reappeared, he was already within the Demon Realm. He concealed his aura, and no one in the realm sensed his presence.
Javier Sinclair stood in the air, his gaze sweeping over the lands of the Demon Realm. ’I’ve brought the entire Demonic Domain with me. I’ll need to find a place to settle them first. From now on, the Demonic Domain will be a part of the Demon Realm.’
At this thought, his divine sense enveloped the entire Demon Realm, his consciousness sweeping across the Thirty-Six Domains.
A map of the Demon Realm appeared clearly in his mind. His gaze scanned it, and he found a suitable location in the bottom right corner, preparing to connect the Demonic Domain there.
Javier Sinclair extended his hand. As he opened his palm, the miniaturized Demonic Domain appeared once more. A transparent Barrier enveloped the domain, protecting it within.
He waved his hand gently.
The Barrier-covered Demonic Domain detached from his hand, flew out slowly, and settled into the map of the Demon Realm. In an instant, the descending domain connected to the spot he had just chosen.
He brought his fingers together and tapped lightly. Divine Power covered all the territories of the Demon Realm, connecting and accepting the newly arrived Demonic Domain. From this day forward, the Thirty-Six Domains of the Demon Realm gained another.
The Demon Realm now had thirty-seven domains. This was the Demon Realm’s territory, just as the Immortal Realm had its thirty-three domains.
In terms of sheer size, the Demon Realm was actually larger. However, the territories occupied by Empyria had better resources and were rich with Spiritual Energy. The lands of the Demon Realm, by contrast, seemed somewhat barren. But compared to the Spiritual Energy-rich Immortal Realm, they still preferred the Demonic Qi-rich Demon Realm.
Seventy percent of the Demon Realm’s inhabitants were native to this land and had adapted to its environment. If they moved to a place without the nourishment of Demonic Qi, they wouldn’t be able to survive. It was just like how those in Empyria couldn’t live without Spiritual Energy.
Of course, this didn’t mean the Demon Realm only had Demonic Qi. The Demon Realm was vast, and some of its regions had abundant Spiritual Energy. Not all beings in the Demon Realm practiced Devil Cultivation. In this world, Demonic Qi and Spiritual Energy often coexisted in many places.
So, as the saying goes, there’s no place like home.
To the outside world, the Demon Realm might seem terrifying, thick with ominous Demonic Qi—not a good place to be. But to the people of the Demon Realm, this was their home, the place where all of them depended on for survival.
The moment an extra domain appeared in the Demon Realm, the elders and high-ranking Demon Generals throughout its various domains sensed it immediately.
At the same time, a voice echoed.
"People of the Demon Realm, hear my command. As of today, the Demon Realm has gained a new domain, named the Bloodfiend Den. Henceforth, the people of the Bloodfiend Den are people of our Demon Realm, citizens of the Demon Clan. They are not to be mistreated."
’Since this place is already the Demon Realm, the new domain can’t continue to be called the Demonic Domain. It needs a new name.’ The first words that popped into Javier Sinclair’s mind were "Bloodfiend Den."
The name Bloodfiend Den had left a rather deep impression on him. So now that he was here, he could just use it again. The main reason was that he couldn’t be bothered to think of another name.
His voice fell clearly into the ears of everyone in the Demon Realm. Upon hearing it, the eyes of the elders and Demon Generals in every domain filled with fanaticism and excitement.
’This aura... this voice...’
’It’s the Demon God.’
’It’s The Exalted One.’
’How long has it been since we last heard the voice of The Exalted One?’
"It’s the Lord Demon God."
"It’s... It’s our Exalted One."
"We greet our Lord."
