Chapter 281: Viral Explosion — A Series of Retaliations
Richard was telling the truth.
All the surveillance footage from tonight—everything from the end of the livestream up until the police arrived—had completely vanished without a trace.
But how was that even possible?!
The hospital building had extremely strict security measures. As crucial evidence in the event of medical disputes, the internal surveillance system was governed by tight management protocols. Even Jonathan, as the “golden boy” of the hospital administration, only had permission to view and copy past footage—he did not have the authority to delete or alter any original data.
In fact, within the entire inpatient building, only the head of security held the master key capable of performing such operations.
“Could it be that the crazy woman teamed up with the security chief and deleted the footage while we were unconscious?”
“Do you really think that’s likely? What reason would she even have to do that?”
Just two questions from the man with the lip piercing were enough to shut Jonathan’s speculation down completely.
“…So after all that work all night, we didn’t even get a single usable clip?”
