Horror Movie Survival Rules

Chapter 214: Chain Letter (9)

When Dana was in elementary school, spy thriller films were extremely popular.

The agents on screen wore black tactical suits and carried all kinds of high-tech gear. They were agile, their marksmanship was precise, and they could enter dangerous areas as if walking through empty space. Even a hail of bullets could not stop them from completing their missions. The grand set pieces, thrilling combat, and dazzling special effects left audiences mesmerized—so much so that many people wished they could immediately join in and become spies themselves.

And now, Dana found herself wondering if she was hallucinating in a near-death state, as if she had stepped onto the set of one of those spy films.

A masked man, half his body stained with blood, walked up to her and Corbett, holding a machete. In the next second, the raised blade should have come down and taken both their lives.

Instead, before that could happen, a black-clad figure descended like a divine soldier and suddenly appeared in the camp—shooting the masked man’s raised hand and shattering his palm.

What kind of pinpoint accuracy was that?!

Under the impact of the bullet, the fingers gripping the machete were severed all at once. The heavy blade clattered to the ground along with them.

“Who?!” the masked man shouted, turning his head and aiming the white mask toward the direction the shot had come from.

“Hey, Gary, long time no see~”
