Future Pet Shop

'Sigh, the little guy must be really tired lately.' If he got drunk in the past, he would have started a ruckus long ago. But now, the little fella could only lie on the sofa, snoring away. He probably didn't have the energy to make a scene.

"You guys carry on. I'm going to take him back to his bed," Shen Yibin said, shaking his head as he picked up Hah'Er. Although the furball had eaten well, slept well, and put on quite a bit of weight at Shen Yibin's place, Shen Yibin was, after all, a man who'd been single for over twenty years. "Thank you, Uncle Qin." Shen Yibin expressed his thanks and led the mischievous bunch onto the site. With him in the lead and Wen Yuan bringing up the rear, they kept a close eye on the animals, not daring to be careless for a second. They were worried one of them might wander off somewhere dangerous. Fortunately, the animals were well-behaved enough, walking along in an orderly fashion without causing any trouble.

"Look, Bald Qiang and his mate have already finished the dam. Now they're building their lodge." Wen Yuan led them upstream along the creek and pointed to a newly formed little pond. A dam constructed from wood, stones, and mud blocked the creek, creating a pond of about a hundred square meters. Near the bank, a small island rose slightly above the water. A pile of branches sat on top of it. Bald Qiang and Gao Lujie took a few quick steps, then with a SPLASH, they dove into the water. A few strokes later, they were on the island and busy at work again.

"Whoa, this looks so much better than their setup at the shop!" Shen Yibin exclaimed in genuine admiration as he sized up the new lodge. 'Sigh, it's a pity the space is a little small. Otherwise, I'd be tempted to ask Bald Qiang if he could build a similar villa for me. Living on the lake must be so relaxing, right?'

Wen Yuan was, of course, incredibly grateful for this. He immediately transferred the money to Shen Yibin and insisted on treating him and everyone else from the shop to dinner that evening. Shen Yibin didn't feel right refusing, so he readily agreed. And so, having finished their tour, they all got back in the van and returned to the shop.

Once they were back at the shop, Wen Yuan left to arrange for dinner. Hah'Er ran off to play with Xiaoliu and the others, while Maphario diligently tended to his orchard. Shen Yibin, meanwhile, relaxed on the sofa and tallied his latest earnings.

His commission rate had increased to twenty-five percent after becoming a Level 2 Business Partner. The 81,818.18 from this sale had earned him a commission of 20,454.55. Adding the previous commission from Xiaoliu and the leftover amount from his last upgrade, Shen Yibin's total accumulated commission had now reached 43,206.89. This was already more than a quarter of the way toward the next upgrade. The 200,000 quota no longer seemed so distant.

'If the prices for future pets are all at this level, then each sale will bring in over 20,000 in commission. Assuming one sale every two months, I could upgrade in just a little over a year at most. I wonder what kind of changes the next upgrade will bring?' Shen Yibin thought with delight.
