Chapter 427: All of Europe Has Gone Crazy
Opening his social media account, the first thing he saw was a post from a friend. Sylvie had immediately reposted the photo of Queen Elizabeth II taking a zongzi from Hah'Er's paw and eating it, adding a comment: "Seeing Her Majesty remain in such good health, I'd like to extend my congratulations on behalf of the Sokovian royal family. By the way, that snack called zongzi is absolutely delicious. I'll be waiting for Hah'Er in Paris—I hope he saves some for me."
"So the Panda's next stop is Paris? I'm taking time off to go see him! If my boss says no, I'll just quit!" one user immediately commented.
"I can't wait for *Panda Hero* to come out. I'm taking my whole family to see it." 'Director Kong must be thrilled to see this,' Shen Yibin thought.
"I strongly protest! Why isn't Hah'Er coming to Madrid? I want to see the Panda in my own city, too!" This was clearly a panda fan from Spain.
"BWAHAHAHA, I found the Panda's schedule on a Chinese website. He's coming to Rome after Paris! Looks like we Romans are much luckier than you guys in Madrid." This one was clearly gloating.
"Moscow is on the schedule too, but for some reason, I'm worried the Panda won't be able to handle the weather there." This user was worried about Hah'Er's health.
"Sigh. Seeing Her Majesty looking so healthy just makes me feel even more sorry for Prince Charles." Uh, that comment wasn't so friendly.
"Wow, I bet Prince George Alexander Louis is the most envied kid in the world right now! Getting to play with the Panda—how lucky is that!" If it had been anyone else playing with the prince, the comments would have been about how lucky that person was. But when it came to Hah'Er, the roles were reversed.
"Doesn't everyone think Prince George Alexander Louis is SO, SO, SO cute? I just want to pinch the Little Prince's cheeks!" 'Hey, aren't you afraid the Royal Guard will drag you out and beat you to death for that?'
Shen Yibin kept scrolling. In addition to the photos from the event, the British Royal Family had also released some screenshots from Yunzhong City's tourism promo video, extending their well-wishes for the friendship between the UK and Yunzhong City. It was only then that people abroad realized Hah'Er wasn't just a movie star, but also the official tourism ambassador for Yunzhong City. The breathtaking natural scenery immediately caught their eye. "Wow, that's gorgeous! It's a completely different kind of landscape from Europe. That exotic charm is so mesmerizing! I have to go visit Yunzhong City on my next vacation!"
Without a second thought, Shen Yibin screenshotted all these comments and sent them to Mayor Wang. 'He's going to be so happy when he sees these,' he thought. This was Hah'Er, fulfilling his duty to promote tourism in Yunzhong City.
"So you're saying if I go to Yunzhong City, I'm guaranteed to see the Panda? Oh, and I can eat that delicious snack, too? If Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Sylvie both love it, this zongzi thing must be amazing, right? That's it, I can't wait! I'm going to Chinatown later to see if I can find some." This user was obviously a foodie.
"Please take me with you! I bet that snack is delicious, too." 'Ooh, judging by the profile pic, this one's a girl,' Shen Yibin noted. 'And she's in the same city as the last commenter. Could this be the start of a new romance? A single guy like me could die of envy.'
The online comments were overwhelmingly enthusiastic. People were asking about Hah'Er's upcoming schedule, the release date for *Panda Hero*, and the beautiful scenery and unique cuisine of Yunzhong City. The event even caused the British Royal Family's approval ratings to spike. After all, the photo of Queen Elizabeth II eating a zongzi was so endearing, and the pictures of the Little Prince happily playing with Hah'Er were just too adorable. It was impossible not to feel a surge of goodwill toward the royals.
Judging from the public's reaction, the meeting between Hah'Er and the British Royal Family was, without a doubt, a massively successful PR event. The British Royal Family, the *Panda Hero* film crew, and Yunzhong City had all benefited immensely, cementing a very positive image in the public consciousness.
After a night's rest, Shen Yibin and his entourage rushed to Paris early the next morning. They had tried to keep their travel plans strictly confidential, but it was no use. Hordes of panda fans had been staking out Paris International Airport since the previous evening, eagerly awaiting Hah'Er's arrival. They had even split into teams, with people posted at every single exit, leaving Shen Yibin's group with nowhere to run. Judging by their clothes and the languages they spoke, they weren't just from France. Some were holding German flags, others wore Real Madrid jerseys, a few were dressed as ancient Roman warriors, and one group was holding Dutch tulips. As far as the eye could see, there were people from nearly every country in Europe. Shen Yibin couldn't help but sigh. 'What is going on? Has all of Europe lost its mind?'
'Looks like there's no way we can just slip out,' Shen Yibin sighed. He picked Hah'Er up, held him high, and had him wave his paws to greet the crowd. 'We're counting on these people to go see *Panda Hero* in theaters, after all. It wouldn't be right to just ignore them.'
The gesture immediately sent the fans into a frenzy. Cameras flashed wildly as people scrambled to capture the wonderful moment. Some were so overcome with emotion that tears streamed down their faces, looking even happier than if their home team had just won the World Cup. Others simply stood there, staring at Hah'Er, completely speechless.
Once the photo op was over, Shen Yibin stepped forward and spoke to the crowd, telling them about the schedule in Paris and inviting them to the film's promotional events. With that, and some help from airport security, the crowd reluctantly began to disperse. But they didn't go straight home. Instead, they headed for the Stade de France and started forming a long line. According to the schedule, Hah'Er would be holding a fan meet-and-greet there in the afternoon. 'Yep, after the experience in the US, Director Kong went ahead and rented the stadium that once hosted the World Cup final,' Shen Yibin thought. 'Otherwise, it really would have been impossible to find a venue big enough for all these fans.'
The arrangements for Rome, Berlin, and Moscow were similar. In Rome, Hah'Er showed off his mesmerizing dance moves at the Olympic Stadium. At the Berlin Olympic Stadium, he drove tens of thousands of fans into a frenzy. And at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, over eighty thousand fans from all across Europe wept with joy.
Every city Hah'Er visited was thrown into a fever pitch. It was even more intense than if Michael Jackson himself had been resurrected. All of Europe was going crazy for this one panda.
