Chapter 41: Soul Wear
Although Flora held a book in front of her face, her ears stood upright.
Hearing that Lance was truly minding his own business, examining potions without any intention of coaxing her—
she couldn’t help but secretly lower the book a little, revealing half of her resentful eyes.
As a result, she happened to see Lance with his back to her, seemingly seriously studying a bottle of low-grade antidote.
The girl felt even more aggrieved. She slammed the book onto the table with a dull thud.
Hearing the noise, Lance knew the timing was just right.
If he teased her any further, this honest girl might really explode.
He chuckled softly, turned around, walked to the counter, and gently placed the paper bag he had been hiding behind his back onto the book in front of Flora.
“Alright, don’t be mad anymore.”
