Chapter 363: Improper.
Sienna’s hand shifted slightly, her nails grazing through the fabric of his trousers. His tail thumped once against the chair leg, betraying his agitation.
She smirked. "Your tail is excited."
He cleared his throat, trying to regain composure. "Are you enjoying this?" he asked through gritted teeth.
"So very much," she said sweetly. "And for the record, I am behaving. If I weren’t, I would already be under the table."
Elias’s ears burned crimson. He glanced around, checking if anyone was watching. The restaurant was quiet, the servers and guards far away, absorbed in minding their own business. Still, he felt exposed, vulnerable in a way he had never allowed himself to be.
She unzipped his pants and he made a sound that was not very fox lord, like. It sounded like a whimper. Like a plea. Sienna leaned back, feigning innocence, but her hand moved like a stubborn snake, with firmness. "You know" she said casually, "I read somewhere that fox beast men pride themselves on their self-control, especially those who have mastered fox seduction skills. Is that true?"
He gritted his teeth so hard that they hurt. "Yes."
"Then prove it." Her challenge hung in the air like a spark.
His gaze slid to hers, deep and heated. He clenched both hands, determined to prove he could endure. The thought that he would be the joke of the year if his brothers ever found out what had happened here. He was the fox lord, for crying out loud, not a male host in a bar! And yet, here he was, manhood hanging out under the table in a public restaurant, his wife giving him a hand job, determined to make him cum. This was highly improper.
He tried to continue their conversation, raising the subject of new trade agreements, elders that needed to retire from the council, but his words stumbled. His voice grew uneven, his sentences shorter.
Sienna watched with delight as his composure cracked, piece by piece. Her speed picked up, as if she was on a mission to send him to paradise.
His claws flexed against the table cloth, "You’re killing me," he said hoarsely.
"Of course," sh replied, eyes gleaming. "Isn’t that what wives are for?"
Every clever reply he would have had to that statement vanished from his mind. He thoughts were too hazy. He inhaled sharply, his chest rising and falling faster now. The light from the lantern caught the sheen of sweat forming at his temples. His body moved on its own, thrusting forward into her hand. All ounce of discipline he had built over the years said goodbye.
His thighs trembled, he moaned, and finally, he exploded.
Elias fell back against the chair, breathing rapidly, sweat dripping down his temples. He was still seeing sparks of white as she tucked his manhood back into the underwear and zipped up his pants.
Sienna grinned. "Look at that, I can bend steel." She took some wipes from the table and cleaned her sticky hand.
"You’re horrible," he said, voice rough.
"Like husband, like wife." she said, sipping her wine with exaggerated calm.
"I am going to get you back for this." He threatened.
Her smile was a provocative challenge. "I will be waiting."
She waited for him to catch his breath and finish his wine, and then they left, hand in hand. Elias made sure to take away all the proof of what had happened, including the table!

The compound at home was buzzing when they stepped through the gates. The tension that had hung over the household since the previous night had already evaporated. Servants were talking instead of whispering, and even the bees seemed to hum more vibrantly. Everyone knew the couple was back on talking terms.
Sienna was in Elias’s arms: being carried in the usual fashion everyone had become accustomed to. She was laughing about something he had just said when they reached the courtyard. That laughter froze when she noticed a figure leaning against the porch. Her mother stood proudly beside a man Sienna had seen only in photographs.
It was Chase Twindell! He was taller, broader and more handsome than he looked in pictures. He had a smile that carried the kind of charm that made people stop and stare even if they did not wish to. Handsome was too small a word; he looked like he had stepped out of a painting.
"Dammit!" Sienna muttered. "Missy Miller is going to be pregnant by the beginning of spring!"
Elias nearly dropped his wife. That was not what he was expecting out of her. He set her down, and they walked to the porch.
Her mother beamed. "Sienna, come and meet my....friend." The pause was deliberate, but the sparkle in her eyes betrayed the truth.
Elias raised a brow, muttering under his breath, "Friend, hm?" Sienna elbowed him lightly.
Before Sienna could greet the man, a figure shout out of one of the chairs on the porch--a young woman, no older than twenty, with boundless energy radiating from her every step. She rushed straight at Sienna, arms wide, and enveloped her in a hug so tight Sienna nearly lost her breath.
"Sister!" the girl exclaimed, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm. "Finally, I get to meet you! I am Grace-lyn Twindell and also certified chaperone tonight!"
Sienna blinked, stunned. "Chaperone?"
"Yes!" the young woman said, nodding furiously. "I came with my papa to make sure everyone is on their best behavior. Do not worry about your mother’s honor, I will keep an eye on my papa. Not because he is up to no good, but because he is hopeless when he is in love. We are all worried that these two might run off to St. Vitts and get a certificate if nobody is keeping an eye on them. Should they wed, it must be proper. And fingers crossed, nobody gets pregnant out of wedlock."
"Because they are both virgins." Lina shared a joke from the window that sent a few people into stitches.
Sienna’s mother flushed crimson, while Elias nearly choked on his own laughter.
