Chapter 114.2 : The Remnant Situation (Part 2)
Lu Tingni took light, lotus-like steps and came to Chu Ge's side.
Being stared at by her eyes, which brimmed with an inexplicable smile, Chu Ge felt a faint chill run down his spine.
"Senior Brother… we've finished our cultivation. Would you like to… come sit with my sister and me for a while?"
Her jade-like hand gently brushed across Chu Ge's chest, instantly making his waist and abdomen ache with a numbing sensation.
Absolutely not! This truly would not do!
"No need! Another day, another day! It's getting late today, and Senior Brother still has cultivation unfinished—I'll take my leave first!"
Chu Ge rejected her with righteous resolve, his eyes filled with an earnest thirst for cultivation, completely devoid of any worldly desire!
As soon as he finished speaking, he strode away with the gait of a dragon and the bearing of a tiger, hurrying toward the outside of the hall.
What a joke—Shui Qianrou was a bone-sucking, marrow-draining great enchantress, and these two girls before him were hardly harmless either.
Under normal circumstances, he would have gladly enjoyed a proper exchange with his two junior sisters.
But there was no helping it—today, he truly didn't have a single drop left.
The Lu sisters watched Chu Ge's retreating figure. Though his steps appeared steady, there was an unmistakable sense that he was forcing himself to hold it together.
Only after Chu Ge had gone far away did Lu Fuyao fail to hold back and shoot Lu Tingni an amused glare.
She naturally understood that the girl had been deliberately teasing him just now.
"Hahaha! I never thought Senior Brother would have such a miserable day too. Master really is terrifying—judging by his condition, Senior Brother must have truly been eaten clean, bones and all!"
Lu Tingni laughed loudly, as if she had discovered a whole new world.
Just then, from a nearby room came a lazy voice tinged with a hint of hoarseness.
"Fuyao, Tingni—come over and help tidy up the room."
The two sisters complied and walked over.
But the moment they reached the doorway, a scent rushed toward them, making their entire bodies feel heated at the mere whiff of it.
Though it seemed to be mixed with other fragrances, the two sisters were all too familiar with this overwhelming scent—they had smelled it up close earlier in the day.
Their clear, elegant faces instantly flushed crimson.
And once they stepped inside and saw the scene within, both nearly had their legs give out.
The once-quiet boudoir was now in utter disarray.
On the bed, Shui Qianrou lay lazily on her side, a captivating afterglow still lingering on her face.
Her eyes were half-lidded, as though she were still savoring the experience.
Her long hair, usually neatly coiled, now cascaded freely, a few strands still damp and clinging to one side of her cheek.
From the sisters' angle, however, it seemed that one corner of the bed… had collapsed?
This bed had clearly been crafted from top-grade spiritual wood and materials—its sturdiness went without saying…
The two sisters vaguely guessed what must have happened, their shock deepening further.
After entering the room, both of them flushed as they curiously looked around. The more they saw, the more a restless heat rose within their hearts.
Even without witnessing it firsthand, the extreme chaos of the room alone was enough to tell just how intense the battle—from morning until dusk—had been.
Lu Tingni's gaze fell upon the clothes scattered across the floor.
They were Master's usually beloved pale-blue gauze dress, now utterly ruined, looking as though it had been washed and never hung to dry.
In addition to that, there were several inner garments, seemingly torn and bitten, reduced to scraps of cloth.
On the bed, Shui Qianrou was wrapped in half a quilt, her posture languid and indulgent.
In a fleeting glance, Lu Tingni noticed that one corner of the bedsheet was stained with a few vivid crimson spots—like blooming red plum blossoms, dazzling and strikingly beautiful.
