Chapter 72: BF
Seoha’s POV
"I can hear you breathe, you crazy person" the tied up person yells and I instantly recognize the voice, the voice my entire heart loves.
"M-Minjae?" I whisper and the struggle stops. Is it really Minjae? My Minjae?
I take the first step forward and he starts struggling and cursing again, full of angry energy and Minjae level impatience.
"When I get you motherfuckers!" he says and kicks his legs, "my boyfriend’s dad is a police officer! It’s over for you" he yells and I pull the bag off his head.
"Get away..." he snarls but stops mid-sentence when he sees me.
"Oh my goddess...Seoha?" he gasps and I nod my head, instantly choked up with a million emotions, my Minjae is really here.
I untie the rope around his hands and he hugs me immediately, I hear the purring noise from deep in his chest as he hugs me tightly, his omega is just as happy to see me.
"I can’t believe this" I whisper, starting to tear up with how happy I feel, Junho brought him to me.
"My Seoha" Minjae whines, pumping out his scent and I sob as the comforting and homely scent fills my lungs, oh goddess, I missed him so much.
"I have been looking all over for you, I was worried, so worried" he gushes and pulls back enough to examine me, taking in my appearance and sniffling to hold back scent.
"I’m okay..." I say and hug him again just to keep him close to me, I missed having human contact like this, missed just being hugged like this.
"This is really crazy, Seoha, you disappear for days and suddenly you’re here, you have to tell me everything" he says and we sit on the table next to each other, keeping our arms linked.
My omega is preening and howling inside me at the return of the omega we love, I’m too excited to have him here again that I momentarily forget how to speak, I lean into him.
"Missed you" I say quietly, I just want to hold him and to be held by him, I’m not ready to answer questions yet.
I can’t even give answers if he asks...especially when I know that what I’m involved in can kill us both.
"Where have you been? What happened? What is this place? Did you get kidnapped too?" he bombards me with all the questions, and I can’t help my tearful laughter.
No one loves me better than this omega, no one cares about me more than Minjae, my brother from another mother.
"You’re laughing? If I go missing too, will that be funny?" he scolds and I hold my hands up to defend myself.
"I didn’t mean it like that" I say with a pout, and he gives me a side eye, "sorry" I mutter and rest my head on his shoulder, tears forgotten.
"Talk" he says sternly and it’s my turn to sniffle.
"It’s a lot, Minnie, I can’t tell you everything right now...but I promise I’m okay" I say and he pulls me closer by my shirt, suddenly yanking it down and I yelp at the unexpected action.
"You really are okay, if these mauling marks are consensual" he growls and I cover my chest with the loose shirt, my skin is still purple and deep red from that night with Taesan.
"I can explain" I say, blushing deep red.
His eyes roam my body again before widening.
"Oh my goddess, Seo, did you get kidnapped because of that black card? Are they forcing you to be a sex slave?" he yells and I slap my hand over his mouth, Minjae always comes up his own scenarios.
"Minjae-ya! Calm down, no one is forcing me to be a sex slave" I say and he pulls my hand off his mouth.
"Then what are those? I’m calling Seungmin to send over the police" he says, getting up from the table and heading for the door.
"Minjae!" I hold his arms to make him stop, but my friend refuses to listen, "don’t worry, I’m here to save you" he says and reaches for the door.
"Minjae..." I whine and when he doesn’t pay attention to me, I decide to spill, "I found my mate" I say and he stops every movement.
"What?" he asks with his eyes wide open.
"My mate...I found my mate, okay? But it’s complicated" I say and he frowns, cupping my cheeks as he looks me over, "Seoha...I’m really, really worried about you, is he an abuser?" he asks and the door is pushed open.
"Daddy!" Sooin’s small calls and as she rushes in, she hugs my waist much to Minjae’s horror
"Daddy...? DADDY? Shin Seoha, you better have explanations" the other omega says and I give him a pleading look.
’Not in front of her please’ I say with my eyes and Minjae grabs the back of his neck, acting as if he’s about to have a stroke.
"Dear goddess, I feel my life slipping away" he mutters and turns away slightly to compose himself.
"What’s wrong, princess?" I ask her and she pouts, pulling back to look at my face, "I didn’t see you, so I missed you" she says with her lisp.
"I’m right here now" I pat her head stiffly and Minjae keeps looking at us with his mouth open, "daddy, who is this uncle?" she asks, pointing at Minjae.
"This is uncle Minjae, he’s daddy’s best friend" I say and she gives Minjae a shy smile, and Minjae being an omega surrounded by kids most of the time, he waves at her.
"Hello"
"Hi" Sooin whispers and presses her face into my belly, her own special action of seeking comfort, and just in time, the door opens with Yuki peeking in.
"Oh, hey, Sooinie let’s go get your meal" she beckons and Sooin reluctantly lets go of me, she keeps pouting till she leaves with Yuki.
"I can explain"
"That’s your daughter"
We say at exactly the same time.
