Chapter 5.2 : It’s Just Crippling His Legs—What Does That Even Count? (Part 2)
"I crippled his legs. Once they heal, he can get out of bed again."
Tang Qingmo waved his hand dismissively and sneered. "I was bullied by servants every single day for the past three months—living in agony. Now I've only crippled his legs. What does that even count as?"
!?
Bullied by servants?
Hearing Tang Qingmo's words, Bai Hualian covered her mouth in shock.
"Bullied? Qingmo, are you saying the household servants bullied you?"
Tang Qingmo glanced at Bai Hualian.
As the original owner's mother, her behavior was exactly like her name—an ever-muddling, sanctimonious white lotus.
Tang Qingmo sneered. "Yes, my dear mother. Didn't you know that in the three months since your son returned, he's been living a life worse than a dog's?"
"!?"
Tang Qingmo briskly rolled up his sleeves, revealing his arms and abdomen, both covered in injuries.
"You ask why I hit your precious daughter? Because if I hadn't fought back, I'd have been beaten to death by her!"
His arms and abdomen were densely covered in dark purple and red bruises. Although he had just cultivated basic body techniques, they were only elementary skills and couldn't heal those wounds.
"How is this possible…!!"
[Bai Hualian Regret Points +200!]
Seeing the injuries, Bai Hualian staggered backward in disbelief, her heart nearly shattered.
"Just check the surveillance footage and you'll see, won't you?" Tang Qingmo pulled his sleeves back down and sneered at the Tang sisters, who all lowered their heads guiltily.
"Oh, and by the way—Tang Aili and Tang Xuerong standing beside you also did quite a lot to me."
"How dare you! We're your sisters! Calling us by our full names is incredibly disrespectful!" Tang Aili gritted her teeth.
Tang Xuerong clenched her fists. "As expected of an uncultured wild child!"
"Your so-called refinement isn't something I can learn," Tang Qingmo said coldly. "The refinement of treating your own brother like a dog and beating him half to death."
He twisted his wrists, still bearing marks from restraints, and sneered. "I wonder how people outside would view your 'excellent upbringing' if they knew about it."
"You…!!"
Tang Xuerong wanted to retort, but Bai Hualian was already utterly shaken.
"You hit Qingmo?"
No matter how distant their relationship had been over the years, Tang Qingmo was still the child she had carried for ten months and given birth to with great hardship.
As his sisters, how could they beat him like this?!
"Mom! It's because Tang Qingmo, this bitch, bullied Xiaoxi!" Seeing their mother begin to side with Tang Qingmo, Tang Xuerong hurriedly exclaimed.
As the fifth child, she had an exceptionally close relationship with Tang Xianxi.
When Third Sister first proposed bringing Tang Qingmo back, Xiaoxi had cried miserably, so Tang Xuerong had always resented Tang Qingmo.
Still, he was technically her brother. The Tang family wasn't too poor to support one more person—if he behaved himself, there was room for him.
But who would've thought this beast would dare bully Xiaoxi? How could she possibly let that go?!
"That's right. When he was brought back, Xiaoxi was already heartbroken. I even saw him push Xiaoxi down the stairs before—getting beaten was what he deserved!" Second Sister Tang Aili said coldly.
Tang Meixin said nothing, her brows tightly furrowed.
She had been the one to discover Tang Qingmo and bring him back. She never expected her younger brother to be so vicious, and couldn't help but wonder if acknowledging him had been a mistake.
Tang Qingmo swept his gaze over the three sisters.
Tang Xuerong, a popular celebrity, had been mocked since debut for lacking acting skills and real talent—rising only through capital backing.
Over time, her temper grew increasingly violent. Whenever she saw the original owner, she would inexplicably slap and humiliate him.
Tang Aili, a doctor who spent most of her time at the hospital, once saw the original owner "push" Tang Xianxi down the stairs. After that, she deliberately made time to come home and stab the original owner with syringes.
As a doctor, she knew exactly which areas wouldn't be fatal—leaving him bleeding all over, yet never dead.
As for Tang Meixin, after bringing the original owner home, she completely ignored him. Even when he was bullied, she pretended not to see it—just as cold-blooded.
"Qingmo… did you really bully Xiaoxi?"
True to her saintly white-lotus nature, the moment she heard her daughters' words, Bai Hualian immediately turned around to question Tang Qingmo instead.
Tang Qingmo let out a soft laugh and asked in return:
"You all say I bullied Tang Xianxi—where's the evidence?"
