“Holy shit, that’s incredible!” Sun Xu was so fired up his blood seemed to boil.
“Mu Tian’s Light—just hearing that name tells you he’s somebody extraordinary.”
Lin Yuan’s gaze flickered. He, too, was clearly shaken.
Thirty thousand Level 50 Gargoyles had been wiped out by a single skill.
It was too powerful.
“Brother Lin, you need to come up with a grand, resounding title for yourself too.”
Sun Xu tilted his head and pondered hard.
“Sovereign of All Under Heaven, Invincible Sacred King, Heaven-Defying Exalted One—which one do you like?”
“What kind of nonsense are those?” Lin Yuan rubbed at his temples.
“Can you stop being so embarrassingly overdramatic?”
After parting ways with Sun Xu, Lin Yuan returned to his villa.
Ali, already thoroughly familiar with the place, went straight back to his room.
Before long, the sound of a piano drifted out from within.
Lin Yuan turned his attention to A’gui.
“You should go pick a room too.”
“I only have one request. Don’t start cackling like a ghost in your room at night.”
It was one thing for him to cackle during the day,
but if he suddenly let out one of those eerie laughs in the dead of night, it really could scare someone to death.
“Heh...” A’gui had only just begun to laugh when he abruptly stopped.
Then he slapped the ribs on his own chest and nodded vigorously.
Just as Lin Yuan was about to leave, something suddenly occurred to him.
“I nearly forgot. I still haven’t used up the Evolution Points.”

A’gui’s once-thin frame became noticeably sturdier.
The bones all over his body gleamed brightly,

A’gui lowered his head to admire his brand-new skeleton and started cackling without pause.
With a lift of his hand, a blue Skeleton Horse appeared out of thin air.
He swung himself onto its back, and thus A’gui became a true Bone Knight.
Lin Yuan stroked his chin, deeply satisfied with A’gui’s new appearance.
It would have been even better if he had a few more skills, though.
Bone Armor was a passive defensive skill,
an upgraded version of Bone Overgrowth.
Undead Summoning needed no explanation. Whether or not A’gui could become a true Undead Calamity would depend entirely on that skill.
As for Netherflame and Grasp of Death, Lin Yuan found them merely passable.

Netherflame was a support-style burst skill.
If it appeared on Ali, it would be like adding wings to a tiger.
But on A’gui,
it was a hero with no place to display his talents.
Damn it, A’gui did not even have a single direct damage skill.
Netherflame was basically decoration.
Compared to it, Grasp of Death was much more useful.
At the very least, it could hard-control the enemy for three seconds.
And A’gui was not afraid of death at all.

Sitting on the ground, A’gui laughed in pure delight.

He had been idly scrolling through short videos of young women dancing when he was startled by the eerie, terrifying laughter.
“Who the hell is that, laughing so creepily?”
Following the sound, Mu Tianxing made his way to the lakeside.
There he found A’gui sitting there, night fishing.
“So it’s you, little skeleton.” Mu Tianxing laughed in spite of himself.
“Hey, stop making such creepy noises in the middle of the night.”
“It’s a good thing it was me who came. If it had been some other class-holder, they’d probably have thrown a skill at you already.”
Mu Tianxing strolled over leisurely, intending to drag A’gui away.
But the instant his hand touched A’gui’s shoulder, the curse power within his body suddenly began to pour uncontrollably into A’gui.
“What the hell is going on?!”
Mu Tianxing was shocked and jerked his hand away.
After separating from A’gui, Mu Tianxing realized that the curse power inside his body had weakened by a tiny amount.
It was only a trace,
but it had undeniably lessened.
At that moment, A’gui suddenly turned his head.
The blue soul-fire in his eyes leapt violently as he stared fixedly at Mu Tianxing.
