The Ferocious Crocodile glanced at Xiu Yan and Ji Nuan, cautiously crawled over, and extended its tongue to lick the liquid on the leaf.
Its deep red eyes lit up instantly, this was indeed the taste it remembered.
With a hint of expectation, it looked at Ji Nuan, while its thick tail waggled in a flattering manner.
Ji Nuan, however, capped the porcelain bottle and placed it back into the basket behind her.
"This potion is very precious, I only let my own beasts consume it. You’re not from our tribe, so I can’t give it to you."
The Ferocious Crocodile gave her a disdainful glance: Isn’t it just that you want to trick a beast into taking you on a sea trip? Is this even a thing?
Enhancing strength, extending lifespan, now that’s something important.
The Ferocious Crocodile nodded generously, then crawled to a spot not far from them and lay down.
Ji Nuan chuckled. The Beast God Fruit truly was something that worked anywhere.

"Honghong, we might be staying in these mountains for a while. During this time, you can roam freely, but remember to wander nearby after a few days. When we are ready to leave, we’ll be waiting for you here."
Given the unappealing name Honghong, the Ferocious Crocodile looked at Ji Nuan with disdain, flicked its tail, and dashed off.
Watching the agitated departure of the Ferocious Crocodile, Ji Nuan looked at the orc beside her in confusion: "Brother Xiu Yan, have you noticed that Honghong’s temper is getting bigger?"
Listening to Ji Nuan call it Honghong repeatedly, Xiu Yan couldn’t help but twitch his mouth; if he were given such a tacky name, he’d have a little mood too.
